"Happy Waitangi Day"

This idea comes from the results of my survey last month, in which some of y'all brought to my attention that some of us celebrate Waitangi Day! Today commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840 between the Māori chiefs and the British Crown, establishing sovereignty and promising cultural and land ownership to the Māori people. We use today to celebrate, reflect, and protest for indigenous rights and New Zealand's history <3 So, without further ado: today's craze bonuses !

G'mornin lovelies !!!

A bright and shimmering rainbow has bowed itself over Ximboland today. There are tiny green footprints littering the Town Square !! If you pay close attention, there's even a glint of something golden on the horizon. I wonder if luck is in your favor this day of St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland.

Today, the time of night and day are perfectly in balance. We move toward longer days (in the Northern Hemisphere), symbolizing rejuvenation and renewal. Ostara is a pagan holiday, celebrating the German goddess  Eostre. Her symbols are fairies, rabbits, and eggs, all the things that signify the lovely Spring season <33

Eid Mubarak !!! Eid is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with my friends, it's such a joyous and happy day of celebrations :) Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan in the Islamic faith and is celebrated with community-wide prayer and subsequent feasts and conversation with one another. It fosters unity, where families will visit each other throughout the day, eating and sharing happy memories. I really do hope you all are able to have some joy this evening <3

It's Easter Sunday !!!! Easter egg hunting, cadbury eggs, peeps, and who could forget chocolate rabbits ! SO many happy things, aren't you eggs-ited?! I have this tradition with my family where every Easter I send as many egg puns as I can fit into a text message into our groupchat. I do hope I can find some good ones to Xeet today too :)
