How to include images/gifs & stylized text in your Debates:

I've had a couple people ask me about how to use images, gifs, bold text, and italicized text in debates, so I thought I should make a little guide on how to make your debates stand out just a little bit more!

First, an example of this in action:

How to do this:
The debate text box doesn't have buttons for the features we need like the forums or comments do, so we're going to need to get creative! If you've ever use HTML before, you're going to be a pro at this.

Images/GIFs:
For pictures, we're going to use the HTML img tag. Basically just copy and paste the code below into your debate:

<img src=" ">

Then paste the image address of the pic you want to display between the quotation marks, like this:

<img src="crouton.net/crouton.png">

Easy as that! This works with .png .jpg .gif as well as probably other image formats that I haven't tested yet.

Bold/Italics/Underline:
Here we're going to use the , , and HTML tags! I'll go through this quicker since you're already an expert from the previous section :)

This text is bold.
This text is in italics.
This text is underlined.

These can also be combined:

This text is bold and italicized!
All this text is bold, but this text is also underlined!

It's important to include the closing tags (the ones at the end with the slash / ) so that your text styling doesn't bleed over into your challenger's debate.

(Bonus) Line Breaks:
Using a tag produces a line break in your debate, similar to pressing enter. This can help with further formatting your debates! I use this in my debates to put images on a separate line below my text.

Lastly, doing this in your debates shouldn't be breaking any rules as other HTML tags that I've tested don't seem to work (ex. audio), so images and basic text formatting seem to have been explicitly enabled.

And that's it! If you want to test if your debates are looking how you want them, simply start a debate with another user (I'm open to debates :D)

You need to upload the picture to another platform (for example imgur,postimage,discord) to be able to post it in forum.
After uploading it on other platform you can copy paste the pic or insert it using the pic icon next to hanger icon on Bimboland.

So my problem is that I can post gifs on my profile with no problem, but I can't post them in the comments
I followed all of your suggestions, including using Discord to upload and post my gifs. If I'm missing something, or if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Using Discord:
Click on the gif in Discord and "open original" at the bottom left. It will take you to a browser tab, copy the link (from the address bar, or by right clicking and "copy image address"). In the comments box, click on "insert image" and paste the link. It should show up after you press the checkmark. If you are using the gifs from Discord's built in gif search, it will take you to a tenor.com link when you "open original".
