For my final month and PXFC we're gonna do something a *little* different, for fun's sake :)
I've compiled a list of both my own ideas and popular ideas from the past few months for direct-to-ximbo voting. I still don't trust the evil built in polling system to not smite me, so as in previous months, please put your votes posted here or in my DMs :)
1. Clown Core &(᨟ ͜● ᨟)& from BunnyWunny77
The big top is in town and we have front seats. Look! A small car drives onto the front stage, parks, and out comes a beautiful gaggle of colorful and humorous ximbos ! Using fun makeup, ruffles, patterns, hats, and backgrounds, you can make a bright colorful clown, a spooky clown, a black and white clown, a jester, etc. Please keep in mind that some of the origins of clown core/culture have a racist history. So try to be mindful when creating your looks (i.e. using black hairstyles as a white person).
2. Shrinking Down by Melpomene
Following in the footprints of Thumbelina and Nils Holgersson we've been shrank down to the size of a daisy. Ahead awaits a world of ethereal humanoid insects, anthropomorphic flower folk, and elusive pixies. All things small hide under the leaves of raspberry bushes and the rims of red cap mushrooms. From delicate butterflies to walking mushrooms, you can be anything - as long as it fits in a shoe. So, beware the hungry foxes and treacherous rain drops as we approach the miniscule fantasy word hiding right under our noses!
3.Shipwrecked by me
The storm couldn't have been foreseen by any ximbo. It came in the night and capsized our boat, sending us all straggling in the cold and rocky waves. As the sun rises you look around and see your fellow crew. Some have fashioned the wreckage into clothing, a la The Little Mermaid. Some are instead building a cabana fitted with a martini bar. What are you up to as we turn this island into a ximbo paradise?
4. XimboCon by me
We've all got tickets to the hottest convention in Pink City! The only dress code is cosplay, be it of your favorite fictional character or a ximbo exclusive character :) The crowd is bustling and the artist's alley is booming, but the main attraction here is the fashion contest. Is your cosplay home made, beautifully constructed with every little detail? Did you pick up a pair of cat ears and a tail at the shops for a quick one? Are you just sort of exhausted and headed to the food truck? We're just happy you're here and ecstatic to see what you come up with!
5. Utopia x Dystopia by BlondeOnTheInside
We are travelling into the future, with digital and cyber apparatus advancing very quickly and becoming more integral to daily life every day. Many are optimistic about the future, but many are pessimistic. Will you choose a good future or a bad one?
Here are styles you can research in order to build your outfit:
Dystopia: cyberpunk, atom punk, post-apocalyptic, lunarcore, darkwear, cybergoth, rivethead.
Utopia: cybercore, transhumanism, frutiger aero, tenshi kaiwai, y2k futurism, space age.
*stares very closely at my calendar so i don't get the dates wrong*
