The upcoming Prime Bimbo election is getting closer and will take place on October 1st.
Info for SMs
If you are
interested in running in this elections there are a couple of things to
consider:
1) In order to run, you have to be a State Minister which also means a paying senator (no artifacts)
2) You have to write a program and click the check box to confirm you are participating
3) Your programs is visible for the public eyes since the 15th this month
4)
Of course, you can add or edit your program later as well, but keep in
mind that you won't be able to make any changes during the last 6 hours
prior to elections. It also means you can't apply during that time if
you haven't already nor to cancel your participation if you have already
applied.
5) If you get elected as PB you will have to be a paying senator during the whole term - 4 months

If your senatorship gets canceled for one or another reason, you are
losing SM status within 7 days and Ximboland is going to be without PB
until the next elections. During these 7 days you can renew your
senatorship and continue to be PB. (I have the pic that only shows what happens with SM if sub runs out, but technically it's similar)
7) Only current PB and 6 SMs are eligible to participate in PB elections

As PB you are also expected to be active and available both for your
citizens, other PH members and Team President as well as to do duties that come with
the title.
9) Bear in mind that being PB is in some way similar to being SM but at the same time quite different. Your responsibilities as PB are much bigger and you are supposed and expected to take care of a lot more issues. Sometimes unpredictable things arise and dealing with them is mostly on you most of the time. Quite often it expects a lot of time dedicated to the game on a daily basis (like 10+ hours per day) and sometimes it may last for days.
10) Point 9. ^^ is not meant to discourage anyone from running, this is just how it is. Of course, how much time, energy, money, etc. you are ready to commit is still in your discretion but I hope everyone agrees PB should be active and available as much as possible. At the end of the day, you are the one who chose to take on that role. More permissions and deciding freedom are always followed with bigger responsibilities and greater investment of your own resources and capacities.
11) While participating in election is not mandatory, it is welcome to have more candidates. That is the point of election after all - having a choice. Yet it is still Ok if you just want to continue being SM or to skip election if you think you won't have enough of time to commit to it this time.

Tools that goes with PB role:
- All that goes with SM and FP roles, except some additions and exceptions
1. As PB you are able to jail any citizen for max a month of time
2. You don't receive messages from Bimbo Mailman when citizens from your state
or any other state get reported but you have an insight in all reports
3. You are able to make pop-up posts in more forum sections
4. You can ban accounts
5. Same as SMs, you are able to gift any citizen :) It's basically the same - you can share
gifts for posts/entries in Fashion & Forum
contests and your state Town Halls, including 20 last threads in total. Keep
in mind that prizes currency are diamonds only. It means, even if you
decide to gift ticket or a chest, you need to pay for it in diamonds.
6. You can appoint and dismiss Ministers or Government - MoJ and MoFA, and FP members
Info for all citizens
- In order to be able to vote in election, you have to be level 21 at least
- If fulfill ^ on Oct 1st you will get a pop-up with all candidates
- You can vote for one candidate only
- Make sure to get informed with their programs because the elected candidate is going to be PB for another 4 months!
- The results will be up on Oct 2nd 8am BL time
Each
candidate is welcome to post their program here in this thread when
they are ready. The rest of the citizens are welcome to ask questions.
Be respectful toward each other. Favorizing or hindering any candidate
is not welcome! Showing appreciation or concern is possible without
interrupting the natural flaw of candidates' campaigns.
