✧༺ Hello dear Secville citizens ༻✧

The upcoming State Minister election is getting closer and will take place on April 1st.        

If you are interested in running in this elections there are a couple of things to consider:

1) In order to run, you have to be a paying senator (no artifacts)

2) You have to write a program and click the check box to confirm you are participating

3) Your programs will be visible for the public eyes from the 15th this month

4) Of course, you can add or edit your program later as well, but keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes during the last 6 hours prior to elections. It also means you can't apply during that time if you haven't already nor to cancel your participation if you have already applied.

5) If you get elected as SM you will have to be a paying senator during the whole term - 4 months

6) If your senatorship gets canceled for one or another reason, you are losing SM status within 7 days and your state is going to be without SM until the next elections. During these 7 days you can renew your senatorship and continue to be SM.

7) If you are SM you are eligible to participate in PB elections

8) As SM you are also expected to be active and available both for your citizens and other PH members, as well as to do duties that come with the title. Even it might sound a bit too serious, being SM is actually quite fun and enjoyable :)


Tools that goes with SM role:
- As SM you are able to jail citizens in your state for 1 or 3 days
- You receive messages from Bimbo Mailman when citizens from your state get reported (note: you receive profile reports, not forum posts reports, and you don't know who is the reporting player)
- You are able to make pop-up posts in your town hall
- And, probably the most interesting of all, you are able to gift any citizen :) SMs can share gifts for posts/entries in Fashion & Forum contests and their own Town Halls, including 20 last threads in total. Keep in mind that prizes currency are diamonds only. It means, even if you decide to gift ticket or a chest, you need to pay for it in diamonds.
(If you need more info on these topics you can talk to your SM or me. Here are listed basic and most important points.)

Each candidate is welcome to post their program here in this thread when they are ready. The rest of the citizens are welcome to ask questions. Be respectful toward each other. Favorizing or hindering any candidate is not welcome! Showing appreciation or concern is possible without interrupting the natural flaw of candidates' campaigns.

this was my first time being a SM and i had such a grand time with you all!!<3 
i got the chance to get to know so many of you, hosting all the events and seeing all your entries is so inspiring. you guys are so creative, i'm proud of sexville. :'))<33
i will be re-applying for next term! i hope i can incorporate what i've learned from this term onto the next. there were a few things i couldn't get around to that i really wanted to do, if re-elected for next term i will try my best to get new ideas out there. :-))

ELECTORAL PROGRAM:
HELLLLLOOOOOO HOMIESSSSSSS<333333

as you can tell, I'm going to be running for SM again! :'))) I had so much fun being one! I learned so much about the game, I got to know other players in the state, I got to see your creative sides, it was awesome!!!

There was a lot that happened throughout my term!
-I hosted the Secville Secret Santa event (idea from Florence), although there are a few things I'd change if I'd ever host something similar again- it was a huge success!
-At least one fashion contest was hosted every month. I was super open to get your guys inputs on the type of contests/themes you would be interested in as well as including my own themes.
-Messages from players who had any questions/concerns/and reports were checked daily.
-Fashion Week!!! (collaboration between all SM and our lovely PB)
-Secville Shoutout Sundays! (I will most definitely need to work on my timing with this one.)
-and well, other things that I did that you may have enjoyed. :')))

Things I would do differently:
-Host more collaborative contests!!! Aside from the Fashion week, I still really want to be able to collaborate with a state! I'm going to try to get this to happen!
-Even though the Secret Santa event was focused more on art, poems, creative little projects (aside from outfit making)- I still really want to do a creative contest for the artsy folks out there.
-I took a huge note on the increase of entries for contest themes that you guys suggest rather than my own- WHICH IS TOTALLY OKAY AND EXTREMELY AWESOME!!! i love that! If re-elected, moving forward I would like to host a monthly theme suggestions.
-I feel like my prizes were mainly diamonds besides the last contest lol. idk if this is a huge thing for you guys but I definitely want to switch around the prizes. Have more chests + tickets/ this isn't a huge thing i'm just going to be honest- I forgot about the fact I can send other gifts aside from diamonds LMAO.

Aside from all of that I will continue being the same old ximboglizzy just better time management.

HELLO, MY NAME IS LIZ! B-)

I joined Ximboland a couple of months ago and I have been really enjoying my stay. I know I have a lot of people I need to get to know but I can assure you I’m here for the long run. <3 ;-)

A little bit about me:
Forums and virtual games have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve always wanted to take on a bigger role aside from playing the game and paying for perks and when I saw the position for SM of Secville open, I figured this would be a good time to step in and incorporate some plans I would have if I was a State Minister.

To get straight to the point- Secville is a small state. Collaboration would be my main focus as a State Minister. I stand by the fact that if we work together with other states, this can be a really good opportunity for Secville to shine. Collaboration can encourage more entries for contests, create stronger bonds with other players and work together as a team!

I would be hosting contests aside from fashion such as writing and art contests. The main objective of contests will always be fashion, but I think hosting art/writing contests can encourage more players with strengths in those topics to join. On top of that- it would be so interesting to see what other hidden talents people in our community have! I would love to collaborate with other States on these types of contests so that other players can take a shot at it!

Forum topics such as the Flutter has been a success in our Town Hall. I would help come up with new topics and maintain the thread as I believe it’s a good way to get Secvillians to mingle and talk about their experiences.

I was super inspired by Agnosticas ‘’Ximbo of the month’’ and would love to do something similar to that. It’s such a sweet way to show recognition to people in our State as well as another way of keeping the Town Hall active. I would brainstorm more ideas and will take on any input other players may have to create something of our own. <3

I want to work with other Secvillians to see what you guys want and I will be more than open to take ideas and feedbacks from others. I think it’s important everyone gets a say in what they want and expect so I will always be on the lookout for any ideas someone may have. Please never hesitate to message me!!! I want to be there for you during my term and I want to hear you out!!!<3 <3 <3

Although I am a newer player, I have done a lot of research about Ximboland and the responsibilities for being a State Minister and understand what I am signing up for. I want to be there for you guys and I will always appreciate guidance and advice on ways to make things better for everyone and implementing other people's ideas. :-) As State Minister, I will try to help every player the best that I can and if something cannot be resolved on my end, I will do everything in my power to get everything in order.

I hope I don’t let my cute lil’ state down and expect some corny ass jokes from me. Afterall- I do consider myself a social butterfly. ;-)

Some people define a Ximbo as a superhuman - blessed with extraordinary good looks, intelligence and fashion sense.
Some people claim a Ximbo is a genderless or nonbinary superhuman. Either way - all Ximbos possess the X factor.

A Ximbo senator is a senior member of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. Only xenators are eligible to put themselves forward for election to senior government roles. Ximbos also get 10 x votes in all elections so they really do shape Ximbolands future.

What is a Ximbo minister?
A Ximbo minister is an elected or appointed official in the Ximboland government. These Ximbos are our leaders.

Who is the Prime Ximbo?
The Prime Ximbo is the democratically elected head of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland.

The Prime Ximbo lives in the Pink House for the 3 month term they are in office.

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Town Square.

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
