✧༺ Hello dear Secville citizens ༻✧

The upcoming State Minister election is getting closer and will take place on August 1st.        

If you are interested in running in this elections there are a couple of things to consider:

1) In order to run, you have to be a paying senator (no artifacts)

2) You have to write a program and click the check box to confirm you are participating

3) Your programs will be visible for the public eyes from the 15th this month

4) Of course, you can add or edit your program later as well, but keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes during the last 6 hours prior to elections. It also means you can't apply during that time if you haven't already nor to cancel your participation if you have already applied.

5) If you get elected as SM you will have to be a paying senator during the whole term - 4 months

6) If your senatorship gets canceled for one or another reason, you are losing SM status within 7 days and your state is going to be without SM until the next elections. During these 7 days you can renew your senatorship and continue to be SM.

7) If you are SM you are eligible to participate in PB elections

8) As SM you are also expected to be active and available both for your citizens and other PH members, as well as to do duties that come with the title. Even it might sound a bit too serious, being SM is actually quite fun and enjoyable :)


Tools that goes with SM role:
- As SM you are able to jail citizens in your state for 1 or 3 days
- You receive messages from Bimbo Mailman when citizens from your state get reported (note: you receive profile reports, not forum posts reports, and you don't know who is the reporting player)
- You are able to make pop-up posts in your town hall
- And, probably the most interesting of all, you are able to gift any citizen :) SMs can share gifts for posts/entries in Fashion & Forum contests and their own Town Halls, including 20 last threads in total. Keep in mind that prizes currency are diamonds only. It means, even if you decide to gift ticket or a chest, you need to pay for it in diamonds.
(If you need more info on these topics you can talk to your SM or me. Here are listed basic and most important points.)

Each candidate is welcome to post their program here in this thread when they are ready. The rest of the citizens are welcome to ask questions. Be respectful toward each other. Favorizing or hindering any candidate is not welcome! Showing appreciation or concern is possible without interrupting the natural flaw of candidates' campaigns.

Program is a formal set of principle goals which are supported by individual candidate, in order to appeal to the general public. The ultimate purpose is to get general public's support and votes.

In short what you can offer to other citizens if you get elected and why they should vote for you not the other candidates.

my program:

The members of Secville are some of the sexiest, most reputable and strongest debaters and fighters in all of Ximboland and I would like to make our state's engagement reflect that!

I plan to increase Secville forum engagement in several ways:
• I will frequently be hosting fun contests for diamond prizes, and they're not limited to fashion! Think writing, art and design, trivia, quizzes and forum debates!
• Continuing the weekly forum topics: The Flutter was a great way to give users new and engaging topics to discuss, debate and share their thoughts on! If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
• In addition to this I would like to expand Secville Town Hall by adding more topics with specific purposes, like a positivity dump topic, a venting topic and an advice topic. These will of course be open to all members of all states.

Most importantly, I want to make sure our forum is an inviting space for not just Secville members but all users on Ximboland. Healthy discussion is encouraged, nevertheless bullying has no place in our state and all users should feel welcome and open to partake in forum without being ridiculed. Any complaints, reports and claims made within Secville will be taken seriously to ensure a safe and inviting experience.

Lastly, transparency is essential for open communication and trust. I plan on making sure clear communication between the State Minister of Secville and its members will be sustained. Member input to what is needed to improve our state will be encouraged and feedback is welcome and appreciated!

To sum it all up, as your State Minister I will be boosting engagement in our Secville forum with forum contests, weekly topics and the expansion of our Town Hall. I will do my best to keep the forum an open and inviting space where all users feel welcome and I plan on maintaining open communication where member input and feedback is encouraged.

Butterfly's Manifesto


Ximboland is somewhat of a haven and, to many of its users, a second home. As such, I staunchly believe in the betterment of Bimboland and its potential to develop under the gaze of an ethnically and philosophically diverse Pink House, for growth is near impossible without multiple perspectives. Once again, I believe the divide between new and old players, ministers and citizens, must still be bridged further and that the opinions of all members of Ximboland should be heard equally as clear. Equality is the backbone of society and, therefore, the backbone of Ximboland.

Whilst serving as State Minister of Secville for the last four months, we have accomplished much and evolved tremendously as a state. The original list of changes I sought to achieve by the end of my tenure, primarily focused on increasing our activity, has already been accomplished. For instance, of the six fashion contests previously held in Secville in over two years, 60% were created by me within just three months. The Flutter too is ready for its 10th issue, making it the most consistent discussion series thus far in Secville. I also changed Secville's state sport following input from our community and updated our state ideologies. Yet, further progress can still be made. Some of the changes I’d like to implement during the proceeding months are as follows, though this is by no means an exhaustive list:

The Flutter: Although its original goal has been achieved, I believe there is still some room for development. From 08/2022, The Flutter will now include a weekly round-up of events around Ximboland and Secville will now be given the opportunity to suggest the following week’s theme for Diamonds.

Fashion Contests: During the last 4 months, we have had a much-needed increase in the number of Secville exclusive fashion contests. These themes, however, were chosen by me and not the community. This time, I plan to let Secville choose the theme for alternating contests, with a prize of Diamonds for the person who suggests the winning theme.

The Judge's Panel: Since the community is the most significant part of Secville, each month I’d like to present two users with the opportunity to judge that respective month’s fashion contests with me. These users will receive a prize and the opportunity to choose the members of the following month’s panel.

The Birthday Board and Beyond: Though we have increased our engagement, we still know little about one another. Taking a page from Aveda in Antitheocra, who is an exemplary State Minister, I will create a birthday board with presents yet to be decided. Other plans to increase our interactions on a more personal basis will follow, hopefully allowing us to become better acquainted with each other.

Ultimately, I would like to encourage people to continue to actively engage with other players on a more personal basis than merely leaving comments, allowing us to the thereby sustain this community for years to come. After all, Ximboland's success relies on the success of its populace at forging the scaffolding on which this site depends. Your voice is a powerful thing and, through the medium of Ximboland, we can learn to foster and harness the power of our opinions, vocalising them with grace and tact: and that is my reason for running for State Minister once again. To both unify and amplify our voices.

The growth of this site and its metamorphosis from Ma Bimbo back in the 00's is evidence enough that through determination, trial and error, and solid teamwork evolution is certain. A vote for Butterfly as your State Minister is, once again, a vote towards expression, progression and egalitarianism. Let us hold hands and invest in a brighter Secville!

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Town Square.

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
