As some of you are waking up to see YES, You the voter has chosen to elect me for a second term as your Prime Bimbo. I tried to use my first term as best I could and tied up the loose ends so I could think about the future with a fresh perspective if I was re-elected. This has been done, and now I can share my plans with you and Bimbolands. You might want to sit down for this announcement and check back often for updates, as this is going to be a very long process for me to write about clearly and explain the reasons for my goals. This first post will contain many edit's and I apologize for this, but it can't be helped, because I want to get certain parts of my plan started as soon as possible.
So lets start with some good news, that I have been just dying to tell you all.
I was thinking about how to pull off my/our Charity money plan, and ran into a problem. I wish to remain anonymous. The battered women's shelter has rules concerning donations, and seeks to document names of donors. I cannot do this for professional reasons, so I asked for some help from our local TV Station's lead female reporter to see if she could put me in contact with someone senior in the administration of the shelter so that I could gift it from a Sovereign Nation.. This meeting went a little to well. She loved the story I told her, and now she want's to do an AP News Story about The Nation of Bimboland's. Yes, we NOW have the potential to go VIRAL on the internet. I've had dealings with this reporter before, usually asking her to keep out of my affairs. So when I came to her with our story, you can only imagine how eager she is for me to provide her with links and documentation. I have some contract discussions I need to have with the owner of the game first, to protect my intellectual property before I can give her permission to begin to officially interview me, but this is to good of an opportunity and it most certainly will be done, and very soon too. This is going to be very fun, if.........*
Now for the bad news.
Your going to not like my plan for Bimbolands, but it is necessary if you want to revive the former fame of Miss Bimbo. I was brutal to the President for the last 4 months. I only let him out of his work-cubical only to drink and breed. He did the job well, and still has more to give and share with the Bimbo's. It is your turn now, to be managed into a working Nation of Bimbo's. I have decided to begin to teach all players who are willing, to become good leaders/State Ministers, PBB's, and Senators. This is what caught the News media's eyes, and heart when I mentioned my goals for the game. She knows my background, and was sold on the idea.
This means Bimbolands has just started it's first Civics and Ethics school. I still have a ways to go with this idea, but it will be starting with a lot of voting by you the Bimbo's. You are going to write the laws governing the forum. I am only going to guide you in them as a coach, and occasional teacher.
#1 The forum is totally out of control now, with people just making new topics instead of using existing topics.
The games section has spilled out into the General Discussion section. I let it happen, because I wanted to see what the players would do to the forum if I left it alone for 4 month's. This will stop NOW. I will be handing out warnings, and deleting threads without warning too. Consider this your warning. I will be setting up a system to vote on the threads allowed to stay, deleted or be made to accommodate our needs into having all available ways to talk about every subject. This is going to be part of the State Ministers duties and mine to vote on alone, because I am not opening up this to any debate. I will be slow to enforce my new Law.
Read the first line of this paragraph very carefully and begin to tell your neighbor about it too. If everyone begins to police the forum, every new player who join's the game will learn how to behave instantly. Be an Example to New Players, and show them how the forum is done. Tell new players when they open new threads that already exist, that they are breaking the rules and tell them where to paste their message correctly. You, long time Miss Bimbo players should still remember that rule. It's Back !!!
#2 "What is the purpose of this game?", a new player writes to the Prime Bimbo.
I get that written to me more times than I want to count. I say to build a Nation of Bimbo's. But what does that mean?
I have given this a lot of thought, and came to a conclusion. We must begin to think less as individuals, but more of as a colony. Each dependent on the other with common beliefs. We can all agree, we like to use the forum and that's a good starting place. Right now the forum is 75% of Bimboland's, and how much political discussion goes on? None. Only Bambi, Remi, SuperGlam,Telaphone, has so far stepped up to challenging me with their idea's of politics. That took a lot of courage for them to do, because I admit, I can get very passionate about topics such as politics. We need more of them. They did not let my words in debate hurt their feelings, and run away while leaving reasons to quit such an unfair game such as politics. NO, they stayed and ran a clean campaign and election, and showed that being civil on a forum is very possible. These 4 players in particular I was actually giving a test too. I pushed them harder than I should have at times. I wanted to see how powerful of personalities they had. Players, Look Up to them !!! I do, and look forward to working very closely with them. They passed my test's with conviction, and that is a leadership quality I can work with and do great things to make Bimbolands fun for the players.
With that said, I will be starting a political debate thread, and it will be used in some way daily, or I'm going to be creative with shame. It is time we get to work making a point. [of Bimboland's.] Debate inspires poll questions. That's what we are here for. To Vote. There should be something to VOTE on EVERY DAY.
I intend to make that happen if it take's me making you write on a wall a few time's. " I will think for myself about ____ happening in the world and share it on the forum."
#3 Don't worry, It will only hurt till you get used to it. Nothing is going to really happen, unless you are willing to work towards a goal as a common people of Bimbolands. Be an individual in the Games section or in serious threads all you want, but think like a citizen of the world at least 5 minutes of the day,and support your game by writing a simple post about that thought. Environment. Health. Immigration, War ect. Try to do it every day, and skip a single pillow fight if you don't have the time. It defines the purpose of Bimboland's in a tangible/readable way.
#4 I have been wanting to require the State Ministers to host an interactive forum game of some type, So I ask you the citizens of the States of Bimbolands to help them out and help them think of some ideas of a fun game that would show off a 'state- pride' or 'feature' or 'value', ect.
I really would also like this game to be played in the Town Halls I have previously set up for this purpose. I will be checking in on the progress ;o)
Lets decorate them with reputation points.
#5 I have decided to use my budget of prize money. The details of which can be found here. This is a creativity contest and is subject to my judgment, but will also depend on player popularity of idea's expressed, not content of the subject. Any topic is fair game as long as you impress me with individuality of thought.
I will be outlining some other minor idea's, but this should be enough for right now for you to digest.
