I agree Lilly! Legalise every drug, let people decide what they want to do with themselves.

Also teens will be more than not into doin' legal stuff.
I think drugs should be treated like alcohol. You can do it, but not everywhere.
Driving under influence is prohibited, also not legal at work.
It's a tricky topic, because I 100% agree weed should be legal, being the most consumed drug in world and also (not smoked) can have a lot of health benefits.
But its everyone choise, if you wanna fry your brain go for it, but pay taxes for it.
Imposing taxes on drugs would bring more money to the government.

In the same time, who wants do to drugs its doing it now while being illegal too lol.

People are going to keep finding ways to get drugs . You can either give them access to do it safely or have them go through dangerous routes to get what they're seeking. Even celebrities are dying from going through shady dealers, so it doesn't discriminate. I don't do drugs, but I believe in people having the choice to do what they want with their bodies.

I think drugs should be decriminalised so that anyone need it for physical and psychological health or those genetically predisposed to being addicts or people just experimenting won't be judged as criminals. But I also think it should only be used in places with medical supervision so people can realise if they are developing an addiction, are having harmful side effects or about to overdose.

I'm not saying other people can't be there just that it should be monitored. Maybe in a chill environment where there isn't anything you can seriously hurt yourself with in an altered state of mind. Also it'd become your problem if it is someone you know and love that is affected. Sure people should have the right to do what they want with their bodies but if someone is addicted they really aren't in control anymore. The addiction is.

People should be allowed to do what they want. Drugs can be fun or they can ruin your life. Really, you can't choose if you get hooked or not, so legalize them or at least offer free and DECENT help.

i have done some drugs and i think some drugs are ok and others not.
BUT what i will never do is tell what they should not take and what they should take.
people can take whatever drugs they want as long as they know the risks, its their body after all.

I am strongly against drugs for my own self, but I do understand why a lot of people are drawn to them. I do agree that low-risk drugs like marijuana should be legalized, especially given that it would lower the crime rate, ensure a safer way of obtaining it, offer an alternative to treat mental and physical ailments, and can be taxed to allow more funding to be put towards healthcare, education, or infrastructure needs.

I can't say I agree with the people who say that everything should be legalized, as that seems like an exceptionally careless thing to say. Meth, cocaine, heroin... these drugs actively ruin people's lives: their physical health, their mental stability, their interpersonal relationships, their jobs... the list goes on and on. It's not a matter of "well, it's their body." The vast majority of outlawed drugs are not banned simply because they don't want people to have fun--instead, they actively damage communities--not just the individuals themselves--and the spread of these drugs harms low-income and other at-risk groups.

Note that I am not saying that people should be imprisoned for consuming these drugs. Addiction rules a person's life with an iron fist--trust me, I grew up in the heart of the opioid epidemic. It's a better question where I'm from to ask who *isn't* affected by addiction as opposed to who *is*. At the same time, people who are found consuming particularly dangerous drugs need to be encouraged to enter a treatment and recovery program to ensure they can get their life back together. I do agree the sale and transportation of these life-damaging drugs should remain a punishable offense, as that is the blatant exploitation of vulnerable peoples.

Just a long, long thought.
