The Bimbolands set-up baffles me. If it's all about being a bimbo, then why are the Bimbolands divided in religious/spiritual states and operated under a humanist republic? Apparently it's so that Bimbos are free to be themselves and ridiculous, as stated in the Bimboland history. But if a Bimbo is unintelligent, why not call these states something fashion related? And if the creator's intent was to be ironic, then why can we start careers in prostitution and drug dealing? Wouldn't it make more sense to work towards very respectable careers? Dr. Bimbo? Astronaut Bimbo? Corporal Bimbo? Lawyer Bimbo? University Lecturer Bimbo? I can see the humour and irony in those careers.

I am not questioning the difficulty of jobs Jazlynn, all I'm saying is that I don't get the irony of a bimbo being a drug dealer. I do, however, get the irony of a bimbo being in a generally accepted, legal and highly academical profession.
It doesn't make sense to dig up the 2002 Amsterdam Humanist declaration as our guide to how this online society is supposed to be run, and then completely get the political ideology wrong when setting up the new Map! If this is irony, I do not get it. A fake republic barely covering up a blatant dictatorship, ambiguous representation of the game... And what is the goal again? Yeah we raise money for a chosen charity which is all good and fine but won't members stay and be more active if they believe and actually DO have a say in how the site is run? And I don't mean a 'say' that has to be hammered in over months before anything happens. We should be involved in meetings, we should have moderators and an efficient site related voting system. Things like the changes on the map should have been discussed with the every state's populous and then the new and randomly created State Ministers should have presented the draft to the other ministers and Prime Bimbo who then puts the finalized agreements across to the site owner who then (if this is supposed to be a humanist republic) enacts the changes agreed upon. The more I think about this the more it is irritating me and I'm sure I'm not the only one, am I?

Random thought... what if your bimbo chose a path with jobs... so you could choose a respectable profession... took longer to make money and skill level up but the pay was good. Kinda like in real life...takes longer to get the education and make the big bucks ;) Or you could choose a risky profession like drug dealer or prostitute or whatever you skilled up quicker and could make money faster but there was always the risk that your bimbo would get "caught" and then not be able to work for say a 2 day period (The risk would increase as your wage increased) ? Kinda like jail time? Being a criminal takes a certain amount of skill and luck in order to not get caught and to actually become rich.. anyone ever watched "Blow" those were not stupid men lol ;) I don't know how tricky that would be to code or anything but it might be kinda neat :)

Lilli you are correct that would be an affective improvement to the job market we are currently offered BUT how are we implementing any of these ideas within this dictatorship?!? We have NO input here, this is becoming clearer by the day! We can bitch and brain storm and suggest any number of brilliant site improvements but when it comes down to it, our say counts for nothing because the site owner only wants it HIS WAY. I feel very comfortable saying this because how many people before me have said the same thing and been ignored? At this point even thinking up new ideas to help the site is like carrying water to the ocean. No functional changes have been put to effect unless an immense amount of pressure has been put upon the man at the top, and then it seems the change occurs because he is fed up of listening to the members constantly go on about it. But that takes MONTHS! The most we can all do is become Prime Bimbo and then we still won't have a real say. On the opening screen of this site it advertise that you can plot your way to power... no you can't. But if this is the challenge then its a very meaningless prize, is the only proper thing we get out of it a badge? Not even the ability to make moderations, I don't know if there is a payment involved for this responsibility but I doubt it! HLB wants to help us make changes but she is not able to because of our glorious dictator! The site gets new members but how long do they hang around? Countless threads are created to say how much people don't like it here... I wonder why? (¬_¬)

members, isn't it in all technicality a business? From a marketing perspective
this makes very little sense to me. I help to run an antique store and we would
kill for a voting system which so accurately reflects the needs and wants of
our customers. Once you know your customers, or at least the opinions of your
general target audience, then you can capitalize on it. It seems that the
majority of us are adolescents in education or highly educated women, who are
all bored and like dressing things up. Many of us like the Sims, which is known
to be a dollhouse game and offers us almost unlimited control over the lives of
animated pixels. From these simple statistics you can deduce that it might be
beneficial to re-introduce the fashion duels, allow us more control and more
options concerning the gameplay, and to shift the game's focus more on the
ironic part of it. We are not unintelligent young women. In fact I find it hard
to believe anyone on this site fits the commonly used description of Bimbo
(unintelligent young woman). When the map changes were implemented many members
pointed out the problems with the left and right wing political ideologies,
like the right being pro-abortion. Many were also freaked out by the physically impossible
breast and penis sizes. If we are unintelligent, how do we know these things?
To be really blunt it's obvious this game is run by a man and I truly resent the misogynistic undertones, like the porn style professions (Has anyone ever met a sexy electrician? And no Halloween outfits don't count). If your game is played predominantly by females, then get a female marketing assistant. If your customers are pleased then they will invest in this site, attract more members and cash will come rolling in, which is more money to donate to charity. If being a prime Bimbo was financially rewarding (if a certain amount of Bimbo dollars could be changed into actual money) and getting the position was an attainable goal, then I would gladly invest in the game under the belief that I could regain my investment the moment I would become Primebimbo. I would pay to become a senator, buy Bimbodollars to get the best outfit and draft in other members to vote for me. And since there is only one Primebimbo and many bimbos who want to become Primebimbo, you have a very profitable supply and demand chain. It's very simple economics and I can't understand why is not being implemented.
Exactly Liliwen! That is exactly it! How is this kind of profitable marketing going ignored?! We can't be the only people here who are grinding their teeth about this subject!

Eh... it was just a random thought. I have lots of them ;) I'm an idea person. As far as implementation of ideas goes and how the site evolves.... It really isn't all that important to me. I don't think we are Chris' sole income, we're one project of many. Chris has a plan, I don't know what it is but he's got a plan. I honestly have a hard time believing that Miss Bimbo is about money for Chris. Yes he wants it profitable but I feel like this game is more of a fun thing for him not a top priority has to happen make him or break him kinda game in his books ;) Enjoy it for what it is :) Make suggestions and just enjoy it :)
