THEMES
1. Alien Abduction
The aliens have come to study the bimbo culture. Are
you the alien or the abductee?
2. THE YEAR 2000
outfits inspired by such legends as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay
Lohan. I feel like the "y2k" style would be quite fun to recreate for
fellow bimbos, since the overall image and concept of "bimbo" was
kind of created by Paris. I think that the 2000-s style is very iconic, but
also diverse when it comes to looks and outfits :)
3. Time to daydream of a
better world!
Did you daydream a lot as a child? Maybe you even
made your own little world! Were you a witch, maybe a fairy or dragon? Time to
bring on the nostalgia, and dress up as the absolutely most powerful and
beautiful character, that you were in your childhood world.
4. Myths
From the depths of ancient cultures, bring out your inner self by
interpreting a mythical element on your outfit!
There are many myths from many pantheons ranging from how
Persephone became the Underworld Queen to how Thor dressed up as Freyja to get
his hammer back. There are countless possibilities as to which myth or even
which pantheon to choose as an inspiration. One can be inspired from Hades,
inspired from Egyptian myths as a whole etc.
5. Hearts
My heart is in my mouth, but I'm just gonna skip straight to
the heart of the matter: I think Bimboland has a lot of heart. So everyone wear
your hearts on your sleeves, whether they're dripping and bloody or sweet like
candy! Do whatever Suits you so long as it's wholehearted!
6. Left at the alter
valentine's day doesn't always go as planned,
especially in times like these. whether you're a runnaway bride, or your groom
was a no-show, express your reaction to when love turns sour.
7. Masquerade Ball 1800s - early 1900s
Extravagant ensembles, masked identities,
the mystery and illusion.
Fairytale nights &
romance
8. Flower Shop
we all love a good flower shop story, whether it's about love
or bees saving America. From floral patterns to flower crowns, grab
your bouquets, put on a flower dress and get your flower on!
9. (Eaten by the) Monster
of Love
Creatures far & wide need love too - what type
will you be encountering (or in this case, becoming!) this Valentines day? Will
it be a devil on a dinner date, or perhaps a zombie taking a romantic (albeit
slow) stroll through the park? Perhaps we'll even see the result of a monstrous
date gone terribly awry!
10. Sweets
Bright pinks & pastels, sprinkles and sugar. Theme with
dessert-themed outfits. Anything with a sweet food theme, from donuts &
cakes to candies, with something like ruffles and lace to match.
11. Groundhog's Day
Will it all be sunshine and brightness with
outdoor activities or more shadows, coats, and hot cocoa? You
be the groundhog and decide.
12. Reoccurring dreams
Dreams are hard to decode and make sense of them.
Throughout our lives we all have dreams that keep coming back.
It could be something as simple as a day in school,
a repeat of our daily lives or a nightmare you just can't seem to shake.
Maybe creating an outfit of it will help you find
your meaning!
13. Heavy Metal Weirdos
Feel free to express your
look in any metal genre. Weather it be Hair Metal, Heavy Metal, Glam Metal and
even Black Metal any form is accepted, Take inspiration from rockstars from the
80s too.
14. Post-Human
The future is now...or whenever you envision the “future”
state of humanity that inches closer to the takeover of technology and machines.
As we become increasingly reliant on artificial intelligence and other
technologies, style changes for us to keep up with the trends. Cyborgs, full-on
robots, sex-dolls...the options are limited to your imagination!
15. Avant-garde, High Fashion
"Avant-garde" can be described as
innovative and unconventional.
In fashion, it attracts attention from both
admirers and critics, but ultimately leaves a great legacy (think Lady Gaga!)
It challenges the norms in the most unexpected
ways, while sometimes setting trends for the future.
So, to all the supermodels of Bimboland: let's
strut our stuff on the runway and become living pieces of art! It's
time to innovate.
16. Back to work!
Its that time of year again... Time to return back to
our workplaces and get that coin! Back to early morning coffees, catching up
with workmates, and strutting past desks in your tightest skirts. Show the rest
of Bimboland where you work - whether you're a girlboss with her own company, a
sexy waitress, a cute programmer at a start-up, or even a Senator. We've all
got a workplace story and a look to go with it. Now's the time to show it off!
17. 80's Throwback
Will you dress up more like the kids from Fame,
Flashdance, or vintage Whitney Houston? Do want to design a creature from
the Goblin City in Labyrinth?
Will you come as Tiffany or Debbie Gibson?
18. Pretty in punk!
punk is always seen as very dark colours and as
much as I love it why don’t we bimbos and himbos add our pink touch to it all
so we can cause anarchy looking fangtastic?
19. True Bimbo/Himbo style
To a tribute to our beautiful Bimboland, dress up
as befits a real Bimbo. Short skirts, high heels, lots of makeup, tight
clothes. Don't be shy! Show everyone your inner Bimbo!
20. Magical Girl!
Theres a lot of diversity that can come with this theme.
Outfits can be bright and pastel, or dark and grim. Have
wings or a pet sidekick.
21. Be my Sweet Bloody Valentine!
Everyone loves a good love story. Right? No!
Love has done nothing for you. Your love has betrayed
you. You are heartbroken. You want revenge. You want everyone to hurt just as
much as you do! Show your sadness or your vengeful spirit in your outfit and
aim for a bloody Valentine's Day!
22. Emerald City Parade
There's no better place on earth than our home... Well,
except Emerald City of course! If you don't believe me, you should see the
fashion parade that they pull out this time of the year! I must tell you, it's
sickening and you could join it as well! You could be a (not-so-brave) lion
warrior, a thin man who fall in love, the smartest scarecrow of the world
(which is not hard, you know?), a floating head, the man under the curtain, a
regular Emerald City citizen and even the badest witch in town! Just... Be
careful to not be that bad, or you might be hit by a house during a hurricane
or something like that. Anyway, let's put on our ruby shoes, kick the heels
three times, and follow the path of yellow bricks! There is a world of beauty
to be explored on our way to Emerald City!
23. Mardi Gras!
Are you at the Nyx or Comus or Spanish Town
parade, hollering, "Throw me something, mister!"? Dressed to the
nines, stepping out to a Mardi Gras ball (maybe even part of the court)? Or
hanging out at home, eating all the king cake? Show
us how you celebrate Mardi Gras!
