Barbara is a playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact. She is received for free in the Baptism of Song Event for completing the quest A Long Shot during the Prologue Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom. She is the daughter of Frederica Gunnhildr and Seamus Pegg, and the younger sister of Jean.

Barbara is the deaconess of the Church of Favonius and a self-proclaimed "idol" after learning about them from the intrepid adventurer Alice.

Barbara is charismatic individual who does her best to spread joy all around. The mere sight of her alone can boost people's spirits.[4]

She has been bright and optimistic from a young age, albeit being a bit clumsy at times. Regardless, she's able to quickly recover and jump back into it.[5]

Barbara is a hard-worker, but can be hard on herself at times. However successful she may seem to others, she shares her own mixed feelings on her achievements. Barbara will become somewhat disillusioned and doubtful when pondering about how long a smile lasts on someone's face after listening to her song.[6]

Barbara has a bit of an inferiority complex when it comes her older sister, wanting to surpass her in at least one thing, be it popularity or grades. Even now, she continues to repress these feelings. Regardless, she unconditionally loves her just as much.

Her craving for recognition switched over into the mere desire to help people. Even with all her depressing thoughts, she quickly jumps back on her feet, disallowing herself to be depressed for more than 30 seconds.[7] Barbara continues to strive for excellence, believing she'll be of help to her sister.

Barbara has a small, petite build with ash blonde hair, tied in pigtails, and blue eyes.

She wears a white frock that is open at the shoulders with blue frills, gold lining, and a large white and blue bow, with a gold cross, in the front, along with white tights, black flats with block heels, and a blue and white cap resembling a nurse's cap with a gold cross on its front. Her white tights have a faint flower polka-dot pattern, and her flats have blue cuffs attached above her ankles.

Her Vision is attached to a gold-adorned spell-book with a light blue cover and a small cross charm hangs at her side, attached to a black strap held together with a gold hoop.

A Ximbo senator is a senior member of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. Only xenators are eligible to put themselves forward for election to senior government roles. Ximbos also get 10 x votes in all elections so they really do shape Ximbolands future.

What is a Ximbo minister?
A Ximbo minister is an elected or appointed official in the Ximboland government. These Ximbos are our leaders.

Who is the Prime Ximbo?
The Prime Ximbo is the democratically elected head of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland.

Where does the Prime Ximbo live?
The Prime Ximbo lives in the Pink House for the 3 month term they are in office.

I want to become a minister or Prime Ximbo. How do I do that?
Any Ximbo citizen can become Prime Ximbo using the democratic process. Its a 2 stage process from Senator>Prime Ximbo. All Ximbo xitizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo/a minister they must first become a Ximbo senator.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 6 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland holds elections every 3 months for Prime Ximbo and every 3 months for State Ministers.

Where do important discussions take place?
The Town Square.

What is the treasury/ministers/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of The Fashionable Republic of Ximboland. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 3 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo xenators.
A percentage (33%) of the money paid by Ximbo xenators via Paypal is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is used for further Ximboland development.
