This year the famous Mardi Gras takes part on February 21st. Its diversity and multiculturalism make a good reason to have a contest. At the same time there hasn't been any contest on this topic, at least not that I am aware, so it's time to give it a chance.

♛ Classic Mardi Grass color code : purple, green and golden
➵ Purple stands for justice, nobility, virtue, mystery, spirituality in the positive aspect, for vanity, delusion and excessive extravagance in the negative aspect
➵ Green stands for faith, loyalty, nature, healing, abundance, etc. in its positive traits, for envy, materialism, imbalance in its negative aspect
➵ Golden stands for power, royalty, prestige, wisdom in its positive and for greed in its negative aspect
♛ Dressing tips:
➵ Crazy color hairs and wigs. Anything but natural hair colors - bright yellow, flame orange, intense red, pink, magenta, purple, various shades of green, blue and so on. Avoid natural black, browns, blondes and gingers.
➵ Many outfit layers. Like really a lot of layers and details!
➵ Accessories - masks, beads, sequins, feathers, feather boas, rhinestones, flowers and similar flamboyant details
➵ Make up - colorful, face paints, gritter, big lashes, highlighters, etc.
➵ The color code is combination of purple, green and gold but you can give it a spin if not a fan and go with any other 3 colors combination. The point is to make them pop-up and accent each other while still fitting together. Some ideas: black, red and silver/golden; cyan, light pink and silver; teal, royal blue and magenta; hot pink, black and gold; orange, dark blue and green; black, orange and yellow or green; peacock colors and so on... These are just some ideas, make your trio of colors if don't want to stick to purple, green, golden combo.
➵ Adding more colors is not an issue at all, just keep your color trio of choice as dominant and your personal signature.

♛ Brief outline
Bring up the iconic New Orleans carnival vibe, mystical yet cheerful with the hint of cockiness that oppose to the stiff norms. Be 'over the top' and extravagant with your attires, even kitschy if prefer it that way. It is the time for the healthy indulgence and a lot of freedom in terms of self-expression in a not so ordinary way. Mix mystical, occult and spiritual with carnal and corporeal in your own artistic way.

The hanger button enables you to post your outfit in the
post. You can post only selected outfit, the one visible on your avatar. You can also copy-paste it from your profile page.
Note:
If you change the outfit after posting it the pic of it in forum may
appear as broken. For that reason you might want to use an external
platform for uploading pics, such as imgur for example.
