i mean its cute and all but its definitely not monster high. they just took the names and put them on new characters, it also looks very low budget and messy
and the OG monster high was supposed to be about fashion but now theyre all dressed in basically party city costumes :( and dont even get me started on lagoona omfg-

yes i 100% agree!!! im glad to finally hear someone with the same opinion as me bc on insta everyone seems to be supporting the new designs )): i do think its great they added new body types tho!

imo it doesnt feel like monster high for me - its not that cool series with the dark fashion that i idolised as a kid up until now,, they changed most stuff abt the charas + the live action makes me eughhh but the dolls are cute! i love draculaura and twyla, the rest are alright lolzzz. also what did they do to deuce bro

I love the new body types for the dolls! I like the twyla, drac n cleo dolls n I love clawdeens new doll (minus the glasses) but they’ve completely changed her style n personality which sucks :/

i bought one of the draculaura dolls and she is gorgeous!! i personally am not a fan of the frankie dolls, but i don't think that there is anything wrong with the style or design changes!! lagoona was always one of my favorite characters from mh, but the design change has kind of ruined that for me honestly- i like(not love) the design but i feel like the design should just be a whole new character instead of lagoona!!

but i understand why many are angered by the change-- it's kind of the same as the changes in my little pony and littlest pet shops, you get used to what you grew up with but then there is a sudden change in style and is sometimes hard to recognize it as a part of your childhood. most of the art style changes in all 3 of these toys/shows(?) have been changed to look more like what is currently "popular" with bigger and sparklier eyes, much more simple styles with less detail, etc.

mixed thoughts about the new version. The dolls are actually very cute, but everything else is a disaster. Also im not sure about fact that they made the new designs more childish and cute-fashion type. To me MH always were somewhat more dark style and thats was my favorite thing about it
