Little pre thing before my contest idea/suggestion:
-I think it would be cool to see this as a multi state event
-It could also be collaborative/make your submission interact with other ximbo submissions
-The writing portion should be mandatory, so you could write and skip on the look but not the other way around (though I'd prefer both to be done)

Court is in Session


Bimbo court is now in session! Give us your best lawyer, judge, jury member, defendant or persecuted look. Along with this include a short story on your case. Perhaps you're caught up in a civil trial or a much bigger criminal trial, whatever it is tell us your story and why you're not guilty or why the perpetrator is.

Court Example:


Case Ms. Lanolin vs. Lipstick Perpetrator is now in session.

"Prosecution please state your case."

Being a new lawyer I was ready to make a name for myself even if I had to start on minor cases that no one could care less about, landing me as a lawyer on the lipstick theft case.

"Your honor, we're looking to charge Ms. Mica with property damage, theft, and emotional distress."

Next to me Ms. Lanolin has been crying for the last 30 minutes about an Armani Lip Maestro Bento Gift Box set going missing which ran for $835, though I'd expected her to make more of a fuss about the several broken windows and doors which would cost much more to fix.

"And Ms. Mica what do you plead?"

"Not guilty your honor, I'm a innocent girl that would never do such a thing." She gives a sickeningly sweet smile that has my client stopping the waterworks.

"You liar! That's my lipstick in your hand and you're even wearing it now!" I try to calm her down but she's already pissed and the persecution isn't helping as she eggs her on.

"Yeah, and my girlfriend loves it!" Mica gestures to the lipstick stain on her dress

"Order in the court!" The judge tries to bring everyone back but it's too late as the women begin to scuffle and the bailiffs have to step in.

A sigh leaves me as I watch my client and opposition get dragged off.

"Shit, that's one way to make a name for myself." I turn to the judge with a sheepish smile, "I don't suppose you'll take that as admittance to her crime."

All Ximbo citizens can vote in general elections but in order to put themselves forward to become Prime Ximbo they must first become a Ximbo senator. All Ximbo senators are electable as state ministers. State Minister elections take place every 4 months also. Only state ministers are eligible to then become the Prime Ximbo.

Can I become Prime Ximbo more than once?
Yes ­ a Ximbo can hold the position of Prime Ximbo for 3 terms max.

How often do elections take place?
The Internet republic of Ximbolands holds elections every 4 months for Prime Ximbo and 4 months for State Minister.

Where do important discussions take place?

What is the treasury/Prime Ximbos salary?
The treasury/salary is the bank account of the Internet republic of Ximbo land. This figure is transferred to the paypal account of the Prime Ximbo at the end of their 4 month term in charge.

How is the treasury calculated?
The treasury is funded by the Ximbo citizens.
A percentage of the money paid by Ximbo citizens via Paypal and SMS is transferred into the Ximbo treasury. The rest is wisely used for further game development.
