I like anime but I prefer reading mangas. The last anime I watched was the seven deadly sins, I m also reading the manga.
I'm an anime and a manga fan, but it's been a while.

I used to be really into anime, manga, etc 10 years ago- omg I'm feeling old.
I usually prefer reading mangas because anime sometimes bores me nowadays?
I like the cheesy ones like chobits, onegai teacher, fruit basket, etc
Animes I used to love during my childhood and teens were, still love some: Blue Seed, Noir, Kiddy Grade
Oh and Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Sailor Moon are classics

I love anime. I like a nice variety of animes I think.
One of my most favorites, which I think us bimbos who take pride in our intelligence will enjoy, is called Psycho Pass. The writing in that anime is so great. Even the English dubs, I'm serious. If you haven't seen it just go watch the first few minutes of the first episode and I think you will be intrigued.
It takes place in a not-so distant future in which via science and technology everyone's mental state can be assessed via a quick scan. There are scanners all over that routinely check peoples "psycho pass." Different ranges are given different colored hues, the higher your psycho pass the less mentally stable you are and the more likely you are to commit a crime. People with high psycho passes are called "latent criminals." Most people who get flagged during a psycho pass check are just taken for "emergency therapy" and they recover. Others with chronically high psycho passes are isolated from society indefinitely as latent criminals.
The show really makes one question a lot of things, and even brings out the importance of stress in our lives, that lacking stress completely is dangerous to our survival. It's totally one of those shows where the main villain kind of makes you uncomfortable because he can totally make sense, haha. The main protagonist is a great character and watching her try to assimilate all the things she's experiencing into her world view is awesome.

Maybe you would like Arina Tamemura's mangas such as the Gentleman's Alliance Cross, it's about a girl who used to be a delicuent and that is in love with the Student President of a school for rich kids. Another one by Arina is full moon wo sagashite it's the story of a girl that wishes to be a singer but gets throat cancer and is going to die so two shinigamis transform her into a singer.
I love anime and manga, some of my favorites are Soul Eater, Kill la Kill, Inuyasha, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, just to name a few.~
