The powers of the PB, are very limited with the forum. It is the same as players, except with the power to edit anyone's comments. Make a thread sticky or not. or delete a thread entirely. I have experimented with some of Bambi's forum idea's. They ended up just making the forum look inactive. There just isn't the population to support 6 sticky threads for the states town hall's. 6 dead threads at the top of the list, and the most active threads being always at the bottom of the list hurt the forum in my opinion. For example, for two weeks I made the debate topics Sticky threads, in response to a players idea, to get people to write opinions on the subjects on their profiles. The result was, only myself, and a few other players wrote in them once, and the young new players generally don't have opinions about such adult topics, and don't use such 'sticky threads' at all. This is another case where experience in a candidate is so important. Progress cannot be made be repeating the same failed experiments. Not all Idea's are new, some of them have already proved that they fail. You cannot force players to write in places they don't want to. The problem we are facing is that new players are not very interested in political subjects, and just don't write about it, because it isn't affecting their lives in a real way, in a game. This is why the subject of a Prime Bimbo being able to control the clothing shops, always comes up. Players are still into the game for the fashion. Right now I can tell you that making promises where the clothes are concerned is completely out of the power of the Prime Bimbo.
Bebe made no progress in the game with the President during her term. She decided to work outside of the games best interests. A Prime Bimbo cannot set up an Off-site personal forum for only supporters, and think this is how you make and control a game. Her Idea was valid. She thought this would be a good way to have weekly meetings with the Senators. Occupy got started this way. With unrealistic expectations, and sense of power where there really is none. Bebe basically got cut off by the President for her term, because she was dreaming good idea's that were to far ahead of the time for the game. Just not possible, and that is not a good time to start having a temper tantrum with the President of Bimboland's. One big problem, How exactly was populating her own personal off-site forum helping Bimboland's and it's forum? Not all Ideas turn out very good when people try to turn things into a cult of personality.
My ideas were made for the game at the right time, and in the right way. I got a lot of my requests in the game this term, and I'm pleased with the results.
My list is actually very long, and I got 5 items checked off. Next is a re-tooling of the monetary system. The wages paid by the jobs, were rushed in the making of the job's feature. This has thrown off , what I call the mathematics of the game-play. This is where explaining this Idea, would get to complicated for a simple post. Basically, some jobs would pay more than others, despite the level of the job. This helps with building a game strategy. For example a doctor may make B$15 and 15 sex appeal(S) Two levels higher as a model she makes B$10 and 25 (S). The randomness would make people actually think about having a specific job that meets their game playing ideal. This is my most logical next step in my Idea of the weekly top ten list's. As it stands now, only the Reputation, and Debates are the only truly random way to win B$. One player could reasonably always be the sexist forever as I have proved. This change in job earning would level the playing field and make the game of the Top Ten more possible for the silent players too. I think it would be a very bad thing if this project is not completed, because it will become a permanent paycheck for only a select few players with the best jobs.
The point I'm trying to make here, is that a candidate needs to look at the game from the perspective of actually constructing the framework for the clothes to fit on, first. You don't need to be elected Prime Bimbo, to change the forum or talk about designing clothes, because anyone has the power to do that already. Make a "Bimbo Fashion Edits" thread. I've sticky'ed all contests set up by players for the duration. Make Themes. Create contests, that I (PB) could sponsor in an official way by request. These are perfectly normal for players to usually do in a fashion game.
