Recent changes

Dear Bimbos!
Duels are finally in Bimboland! They're still not perfect, problem with the counter (timer) is well-known and promised to be fixed, so don't worry. Some Bimbos found tricks to deal with the counter problem, you can read about it here

Important news!

Dear Bimbos, yesterday for few hours fights and debates fee was 20 tokens, previously voting in fights and debates for few hours was awarded with 1 token, instead of 2 tokens.
The Team obviously forgot to announce you properly all of the changes they did with fights and debates last days, so some of you lost too many tokens because you followed wrong information.
Please, be careful with your fights and debates activity, because I can't promise it won't change again soon and it's strongly doubtful that we will get notification about it.

Congrats to all the winners! Also, thanks Iulja for addressing our concerns about the tokens, really hope we can get a system worked out, or at least a compromise. I like using tokens for things, and I think how much we earned was fine before. Maybe the key lies in allowing us to vote in fights/debates more often? XP

The problem is that we have too many ongoing fights and debates. Not only takes it ages to finish a debate, but it causes troubles with database. I totally understand it, I just think that solutions that Team is looking for are not good, cause they forgot that tokens had other functions, too (Daily Task). The other problem is that they didn't announce the changes so everyone had a chance to read it.

Cum, more votes = more tokens = more tokens to start fights and debates. So it doesn't solve the problem with too many opened fightes and debates.

On the other hand, I think it would be a nice idea to give us more votes, but those extra votes wouldn't be paid with tokens.

It might also be possible to increase the amount of votes we get, keep the tokens, but just make more things to spend the tokens on. Perhaps more attractive options will encourage bimbo's to budget their tokens better, start a few less fights/debates in favor of something else, like a token slot machine or something?
I was definitely thinking of some more games, including a few "pay to play" games, because it does seem like once the diamonds came in, the other currencies just don't have the same impact?

I'm afraid that there's immidiate solution needed, while your ideas are rather for future. But sounds interesting.

True enough, and glad that they are interesting. So, as for the immediate future... I'm definitely going to give this more thought and see if I can't help to come up with something. But it seems like the only thing I can think of right off is that in real life, what do we do when we have a surplus of something? The answers vary, but it seems that we either destroy the surplus due to lack of better options, or we create more incentives for people to buy the surplus. In this case, we need to ask the following questions:
1.  The amount of debates/fights you can start a day is controlled by the amount of tokens you have. If you've built up a mountain of tokens and suddenly want to start 50 fights/debates a day to burn some off, that will DEFINITELY cause issues site-wide. Should there be a fight/debate cap enforced?
2. We get a cap on the amount of votes we get per day, and I assume the number was calculated based on the average number of fights/debates started per day. Should the cap here be adjusted?
3. Are people actually using ALL of their votes? If they aren't WHY NOT? How do we encourage more players to use all of their votes if they aren't voting?

Sorry about the double post, but from what I can see, the problem seems to be in debates, not fights. There are only 17 pages of fights right now. There are 79 pages of debates. I think the issue might be that there are more people playing for the fashion and dress-up function of this game, and not the politics. I believe that the problem might be solved if you combined the debates/fights features, to make them solely about fashion. Or, keep them separate, but allow the debates to be outfit slots as well, and change their categories to reflect this. Or instead of outfit slots, users could upload pictures of their outfits to the debate slots instead, if slots are harder to program in for whatever reason. Though I still put forward the suggestion for MORE outfit slots in general, I would spend my diamonds on those in an instant!
Sorry, I know this game was rebooted to involve politics, but I really just don't see that working out in the long run. The majority of users don't even seem to be here for that purpose, they just want new clothes, more options, and a fun place to be. Involving politics does the exact opposite of that, all you have to do is look at the real world to see it.

Of course, that debates are more problematic, although 2 days ago even fights were stuck. Anyway, we need to encourage people to vote more often in debates.

Your ideas are pretty nice, I had only the brutal one: give tokens for voting in debates only.

Ha, that IS brutal. Brutal, yet it has potential. Would there be any way to set up a system of weekly rotation? One week, the fights give tokens, the next week, the debates give tokens? So if users want to keep earning them, they just have to take turns voting per week?

Favourite Worst Nightmare

How about limiting votes in a way that we can only give 50% of votes in fights and 50% in debates?
