I can't even begin to imagine why someone would block you. But like Vita said, it could be by accident. If it was deliberate then I really wouldn't worry dear Cinnamon, if they block you without reason then they're not worth your worries really. Blocking someone without even trying to speak to you about what's bothering them shows pettiness and is just cowardly in my opinion. And not worth you worrying over :)

A lot of new players (myself included) are coming from Tumblr, where its pretty common to block people to prevent drama if you can tell that there'd be a big personality clash. I know it seems a bit immature, and it might be, but for That website at least (where theres minors) its a good habit to get into to prevent a lot of stress. Maybe its just the tumblr folk doing that still?
Or like others said, its by accident. I saw another thread where people say that its apparently decently common that accidental blockings happen.

I would worry about limiting blocking people because I think people deserve the right to curate their online experience into something they enjoy, but I also realize what works on tumblr won't work here since this is a totally different site. Tumblr is about content sharing and Bimboland is way more focused on socializing. I think having people write the reason they block someone, maybe with a list of pre-written common reasons to block someone and then an 'other' option where you write the reason if it isn't on the list, would help.

And if so do you (as in anyone who wants to pitch in with their thoughts) think blocking should still be allowed in a situation like that, or is it unfair? I'm really conflicted because on one hand obviously cheating sucks and should not be tolerated, but also if stopping cheating affects others' ability to make themselves feel comfortable in an online community that's bad too...

i keep going back to this to add on to it but i honestly hate the fact that users on this site get notified when they are blocked so much. its the main reason why i was continuously harassed by the stalker i mentioned earlier, i had deleted my old account here where he had harassed me on and when i made my new account i immediately blocked him in order to avoid him but it backfired as he was notified of it and figured out who i was and harassed me on every single thread i posted on afterwords
