Due to a surprisingly popular request, I have been prompted to bring my discussion 'so... do aliens exist, man?' into General Discussion, where it can be discussed more seriously.
So, in light of that, what are your favourite conspiracy theories? Which ones do you find intriguing and want to learn more about? What thoughts do you have about philosophy of religion or life? Do you have any theories about the universe or the government? Do you think there's life outside of Planet Earth, or even living among us today in secret?
I'm excited to hear your opinions and thoughts and discuss them with you!
(Just as a side note, I know some topics can become quite controversial to religious or moral beliefs, so please reply to an idea/theory with poise.)
Here are some theories I'm very engrossed in:
The Ancient Astronaut Theory - summed up, the theory that aliens arrived on this planet many years ago and have helped shape man kind. There are different ideas surrounding this theory, but all in all the general idea is that aliens have been on Earth for a long time.The Hollow Earth Theory - Ceres actually brought this up in my previous post and it got me researching it. From what I have found, it's basically the idea that the Earth is hollow in the center and that a highly advanced species of human-like aliens live there, and that the South and North Poles are gateways to this inner-world. The Hollow Moon Theory - What I have gathered, it is the theory that the moon is hollow and contains an extra terrestrial space craft inside of it made of metal, where aliens may/may not live. 9/11 - I know this subject can be a sensitive one. But was it an inside job? There is so much evidence found that it often makes me wonder. This is possibly the most frightening conspiracy theory I have come across. So what do you think? Do aliens exist? Is the government run by lizard creatures dressed in human suits? Has Korea reached Utopia (yes, this is actually a conspiracy theory, albeit a crazy one)? If God exists, is he a God of classical theism? Is the area 51 just a distraction for the real grounds of extra terrestrial and UFO's? Was there really a UFO crash landing in Rosewell, New Mexico?
