Hey everyone! There are two parts to this pop up, the most urgent being contest theme suggestions, so I’ll start with that! Use THIS thread to suggest the theme you would like to see for this month’s atheista-only fashion contest. (The dates might be a little weird depending on the turnaround of the suggestions and polls, but i promise we will have a fashion contest for June!) Here are the rules for suggesting a theme:
❥ You may submit as many themes as you like
❥ Each theme should have a title, and a brief description
❥ Please do not suggest themes that have been used for monthly contests or PXFCs within the past year
❥ All suggestions must comply with site rules. If I find a suggestion inappropriate, I reserve the right to leave it off of the poll
❥ You may submit previous themes that did not win
❥ The person who suggests the winning theme will receive 100 diamonds as a thank you from me
❥ You have from now, until Monday June 24th, at 23:59 XL time to submit!!

Ok so now for the second and less urgent part of this announcement: Our survey is complete! There were SEVENTY ONE total responses, which is wild considering the last time i did a survey like this, there only sixteen!! HUGE thank you to everyone who answered, it makes being an SM feel even more worth it when I can hear your feedback :) So to communicate the results and the future changes, I’m going to put a link to the full results and give you a list of my big takeaways/future changes. 1. It seems like people are all interested in different types of gifts for contests. For monthly contests, ill stick to just diamonds but for other activities the prizes will be more varied
2. As you can tell from the beginning of this thread, we are going to retire the monthly contest theme suggestion thread. We tried it for a while, but I feel like it gets overlooked a bit, so having a new set of suggestions each month will hopefully keep things fresh :)
3. I plan to have a discussion about changing some of Atheista’s politics! Im not sure exactly how it will work, i’ll think about it some more and update you soon. Keep in mind, i only have the power to change our for/against stances, state sport, and political position (left, right, or center) the bigger political ideologies (anti-racism, marxism-leninism, antifascism etc) are out of my control to edit
4. I’ll be adding more topics in the forum! I’m gonna try to come up with a new thread each week, and bring back prizes at the end of the month for atheistans who use our section of the forum the most
5. I’ll be keeping pop-ups generally the same!
