i'm really curious to hear from other ximbos if anyone is feeling similarly to me or if anyone can provide any insight into why they may disagree. i'm writing this post bc i have become a little frustrated with both the fight & debate tabs... instead of having actual outfit fights or debates, there are so many open fights with someone's ximbo outfit and a blank side/don't vote me, i'm helping! sign. similarly, almost all the debates i vote on it seems that both ximbos competing against each other have "challenge me! going for my curious" or something similar and then no actual opinion on the topic they are supposed to be debating. i get that it's helpful because it ensures the ximbo on the left a win and allows the max amount of ximbos to get votes, but i also feel like it completely takes away from what the debates and fights are really for. it just makes me kinda sad because i love reading everyone's opinions in the debates and doing fashion fights but as of right now the tabs feel hella gunked up by people just trying to max out their stats. i know it's not against the rules or anything to help out in the fights/debates, but i've been thinking about it for a while and am curious if anyone else has any thoughts :) truly not trying to come for any ximbos all peace and love

i think it's nice because it allows people to get wins on debates/fashion fights and lets people get the curious badge. i personally don't do it but i think it's nice that people do. what i don't like is when two people enter a debate, both of them saying "vote for the other person, i'm going for curious" because i have no clue who to vote for!

yes i definitely agree with that!! i think i have a similar frustration with being told who to vote for (in the outfit fights with one blank side) as i do with the confusion between who to vote for

i totally stopped doing either since its not at all about who has the better outfit or comments~ so i turned it off and dont ever look at the fights or duels. and its kind of sad.

that is really sad :( i'm curious if i brought it up to the government if they would do anything/put in place some limits. because fights are one of my favorite things to do on this website and it's getting harder and harder to even see actual fights or debates

I think I only have one debate as debate me because I didn't know how to speak on the topic, but I did need my curious badge and people seemed to not vote against me unless I stated that (I did this when I first started playing just never thought to change it). The rest have an opinion.

To my knowledge, many accounts with the "I'm helping" sign within fights aren't even active anymore.

I usually don't mind, and it's nice for new players who do not have the funds to run against someone who's been playing for longer. Sometimes the "I'm helping" side wins, so it's not guaranteed. I vote randomly. Sometimes, I vote for the leading side, especially when there's an influx of fights/debates, or I alternate. Sometimes, I truly go based on the outfit topic and what I think is more on theme.

Now for debates, I kind of do dislike how much it happens, especially when it's debate me/keep it 5:4 on both sides. What can be done is you can debate me and still put an opinion. I do that. Some people put whole essays for a debate (I will vote for the other side, guaranteed), so you def have enough room for both.

It gets annoying when it's just two "debate mes" together. Especially when it's the same two people five times in a row. If there was an incentive to say more, then that would fix it. I'm honestly surprised with how much of the game has to do with politics, but at the same time nothing to do with it. It would be fun to have debates and let it contribute to your state somehow. Like at the end of a certain time period, every bimbo in the state with the most winning debates gets a bonus?
