Love the idea of discussing DQFC and our thoughts related to the voting system. I can't read all of your previous posts, but I cannot disagree with what I managed to see.

Bimbo's names should be removed. Popular ones get votes, that's the truth. I can't say that they do not deserve those points, yet some of the citizens may be considering the name only, instead of the outfit.

Selecting outfits before voting... would be useful, but the boundary between the theme and one's interpretation is blurred. Naked Bimbos should be excluded from the contest immediately, but some of us may feel disappionted and frustrated if their outfits were out because a small group of ppl would decide if their imagination followed the theme or not. I see some possible trouble with this solution.

More Bimbos to vote every day? Hell yeah! I'd like to see as many as possible and I do need some freedom while voting, so I can choose sb I really admire and not the best of the worst (it happens, we all know it). 6 Bimbos is definitely better, but I would come up with 10 or sth.

I had my own Bimbo among two other candidates once, too. I think we should not have a chance to vote for ourselves! Can we do sth about it?

The entry fee? Could be higher, but not that high. Some Bimbos can't save BD (look at me!), especially when there's a new theme and I've got nothing connected with it in my closet. Let's double it to 500.

Having your own Bimbo in poll of three shouldn't happen. It probably was a system flaw or bug. I don't know were you the only one with such issue or there were more... You are the first who reported it.

Eliminating naked Bimbos... I think that it is possible to be done with algorithm, without live person going through the entries. It is way easier than judging who is into theme who not.

I agree about the fee that 2000-3000 B$ is probably too high for many. Something about 500B$ as you propose up to 1000B$ is manageable.

I saw my own outfit last month, I think. Didn't know if it was a problem with the system or just a weird coincidence, so I just skipped the voting that day and forgot about it. 

I followed the discussion on the outfits partially before this thread and saw that many Bimbos appear more than once in a single player's voting. For example, two days in a row one could vote for the same Bimbo, among two others who did differ from previous outfits. That's strange.

This thread was brought to my attention by LillyAnn; I appreciate that you took the time to leave me a comment and provide me with a link. I may not have noticed that this thoughtful discussion was taking place otherwise. So, thank you!

My husband and I are both Bimboland fanatics, and month after month during the DQFC we rehash the same complaints with each other that many of you have brought up here in this thread. I am glad we are not alone in our disappointment with the current voting system. We all agree that it could be better.

This is such a fun game, and it’s more than a game; it’s a Bimboland republic! I have seen the creators make wonderful, ongoing improvements based on the suggestions of its citizens and legal residents. I am glad we have the opportunity to provide meaningful feedback and that it is considered.

There are so many creative DQFC entries, most of which go unseen, because we can view only three entries per day, and due to the short duration of the contest. There is also the issue of repeats. It would be nice to see different entries each voting opportunity. Of course, I would like the ability to see every DQFC entry in one place at the same time, but I understand that the server cannot support this, as our Prime Bimbo explained, and I accept that.

This being the case, I am open to other tweaks and changes that are possible, that will achieve the goal of enhancing the fairness and transparency of the voting system. I concur with many of the creative solutions that have been proposed so far. Allow me to echo you.

1) Remove the names of all entries to reduce bias.

2) In order to maximize the number of entries seen, allow voters to view 9-10 entries at a time, 5-12 times a day. Either with back-to-back voting opportunities  or perhaps a new voting opportunity would unlock every couple of hours.

3) Eliminate the opportunity for a voter to vote for the same bimbo/himbo twice. No repeats.

4) Remove entering the DQFC as a daily task in order to increase the quality of contestant outfits.

5) With regard to naked and off-theme entries, I disagree with those who have recommended eliminating or disqualifying them via a special pre-selection committee of some kind. This process, if approved, would open a whole new can of worms. If people are willing to pay the contest entry fee, I believe they should be granted the right to freely express themselves, however annoying. Let voters decide.

6) I prefer that the entry fee remain as is. The fee may already be a hardship for some. A fee increase could exclude many from participating and hinder the quality of submissions by decreasing the funds available for outfit creation.

If the entry fee is higher, that would surely be discouraging to enter. As long as daily task is not removed it would only be painfully punishing, no use. Even with daily task removed "lower level" bimbos would use up most of their money on the fee and not be able to use it for the outfit. Not my favourite.

For reasons explained by a bunch of people a preselection is a very complicated thing. Sure, no ball gowns in this case, but as mentioned before: it would have killed creativity and many really good outfits.

I do not think the description is too long and or too complex. I see no harm in people who do not read or understand it. People are like this, nobody said everyone had a right to be a DQDC winner despite not speaking english enough to understand the description or to make the effort to read it.

@excluding senators

I am not a senator and presumably I will never be. But if I was, that suggestion would really piss me off. Senators are the ones who pay for this site, which I don't. Sure they have other advantages, but senators are those who pay so I can play for free. I would not like to exclude them from fun or competition. You support the site more than any other bimbo (financially) and the result is getting punished into having a huge load of work and not being allowed to play the main event of the month? sheesh.

in the light of the above: if there are really thousands of entries preselection is not feasable regardless if we all think the task is feasable for ten people. I can surely sort out not fitting entries among 50 entries. But not among thousands.

@himbos / senators

Having the contest work with different groups of players seems a good idea to me. Have the level xx-plus bimbos compete against each other and the smaller ones against each other and have an extra himbo section. That would even out the competition really thorough and result in much fairer contest

Agree with you. At this moment, if I had to make a new outfit and pay 1000B$, for instance, to enter DQFC, I couldn't make it unless if I add budged by buying diamonds or money, that's for sure.
The question of entry fee and having it as a daily task go hand in hand. I really think that if it wasn't a daily task, the problem with problematic outfits especially naked ones, would be partially solved without rising a fee. It would give more time to make money and prepare outfits or players wouldn't enter uninterested in DQFC just because of the task.
On the other hand, regarding outfits which are not naked but way out of the theme, I am not sure that daily task (having it or not) or fee (lower or higher) play any important role however. Simply, it seems that completely out of the theme outfits are story for themselves.

- Preselection -
Complicated. Where to draw the line even if it was possible? More choices and no repetitions of the same outfits would probably solve that problem too.

- Description - 
It crossed my mind too that there probably people who don't speak English, or young teens who don't know English very good. It happens in any other on-line game and it cannot be fixed without drastic measures which would hurt the game. I am also sure that there some who understand at least basic things but doesn't bother to read. It cannot be fixed neither.
Specifically this time, some people were confused was it about any new year resolution or strictly about going to the gum. And as someone mentioned was it about sport and being fit in general or specifically going to the gym, which brings the point that sporty outfit is not equal gym outfit. When I think about the description, it's kinda similar to themes and outfits we have for fights. Let's see movie character outfit for instance... Not everyone is dressed like a character from some movie. Even if they were, it means nothing to someone who is not familiar with that movie. Nor we have gears for making so many various movie characters so people improvise. The similar thing was with recent DQFC. We had some gym gears in shops but it is limited. So at this point, defining the theme as being fit and do some sport would maybe be better than tied it to the gym only. Among all, it would gave more freedom of choice in making outfit.

1) Himbos - I am totally for that. We haven't heard from them yet, however. I hope some of them will show up so we can hear how it all looks like from their perspective. At the moment I only have on mind making poll here on forum so that we can vote for or against separated Bimbos and Himbos outfits on the same theme. I really think that their chances are limited for the reasons already mentioned before, but I don't have a look into their shop, so would like to hear it first hand from them. I thinking of sending them more specific messages regarding this single point.

2) Senators and @Excluding senators - well you are totally right about this I guess. I am almost sure that most of them wouldn't like to excluded and it is totally reasonable.
However, some of them didn't participate in this DQFC. I think that @Tiffiann mentioned she didn't, which was honestly strange to me due that I really like her outfits and hoped to see her in voting. She also mentioned things about popularity and names, which sounds to me that she is affected by that, even she is a senator herself. So nothing is all black or white. And seems that popularity isn't tied to senatorhips.
Regarding their payments and work - Sure, the game is running because of the people who financially participate and it cannot be denied at any point! It is that way in any large internet community, whether it's a game or social network. Games live because some people pay premiums or even participation, social networks live because people pay for ads. Bimboland is internet community - internet republic, something between the game and social network, it has elements from both. And I would surely like if we hear from more senators and state ministers regarding the whole topic.
About their work - It is obvious that they have obligations and work. Some of the clothes and items designers, others work on something else. Maybe it would be good if we could know who works on what for the sake of transparency.

As a final thought, I was also thinking about the idea of separating players into more categories before final voting circle. But we need to go through it how to organize categories. Would it be higher levels and lowers levels players, something such
1) players under 30lvl, players between 30 and 50 lvl and players above 50lvl, for instance?
2) Or, simply categories between citizens and senators (this option might not be right because Citizen who is let's say lvl 40 might be closer to Senator who is lvl 30 than to another Citizen who is lvl 20). Or
3) Bimbos and Himbos cathegories, or
4) mix of previous (1), (2) and (3)

I didn't know that the same problems were hot in previous DQFCs. This was my first, don't know about the others who participate in this topic, but it's good to hear the experience from more experienced players who were part of many contests.

So far, most of us agree with all 6 points you made. After all, the polls could be made for each point in order to have completely clear picture.

Seeing and being able to vote for your own entry... do not know, must be a kind of glitch in the system :/ It confronts any logic of competition.
Repetitive appearing of the same Bimbo - seems that all us experienced that. Regarding that, don't know was it a part of the system or bug. It is possible that if you once voted for some entry get that entry again with the other as a kind or step in selection. There might be some logic in that, again it depends on how programers designed it and what was their though on it. I mean, it might be similar as fights, where you vote for the same person 5 times, but 6th time you might like the other entry more. Just a though on it...
At that point, it seems like a good idea if we all will be introduced into new voting system design by game team and programers so that we know the logic and reason behind the voting system. It shouldn't be a problem for a team to explain us that and it would rise a transparency which, by the way, fits the game's democracy.

I didn't say that description is too complex to understand, for me that particular one was like too long, really bad story. I just said it would be nicer and it isn't too hard to state theme clearly, example - task: make gym outfit (wear just gym clothes). Simple and clear, a way to avoid theme misunderstanding.
