If some context will help, the idea was inspired by Vita Brevis's Freddie Mercury outfit. It may take some extra creativity, but I am excited to see what people come up with.

I thought of that outfit as well and it's a great outfit. I've seen other great celebrity outfits so yes they might be entered but I haven't seen *that* many specific celebrity outfits so it will potentially be a very creative contest and challenging in a good way.

I suggested the theme Icons & feel that it got misinterpreted & the only reason why I am deciding to say something is because my name is attached to it. I personally wanted it to be Icons because Icons are symbols of different things/passions & not all icons are celebrities. It's too late to make the proper adjustment so I wasn't going to say anything however I don't want the negativity over this attached to myself or others involved or viewed as involved. I am still excited to see what comes out of the DQFC as I find it fun & it's meant to be fun. What about not adding the name of bimbo/himbo who sent the idea unless they want it to be added? Exactly the same thing happened last month when people were complaining about the fairytale theme. Its absolutely impossible to make everyone happy so there will be someone complaining the theme every month and it would be better if the name wasn't attached to it as it might start to feel personal.

That's a good idea. I have about 30+ suggestions for August right now. I certainly was not going to add people's names to the poll, because I want people to vote for the ideas and not the people. Going forward, I will definitely ask the winner if they want to be identified. Thanks for the suggestion!
First of all, I'm pretty honored that my Freddie Mercury bimbo was a sort of muse for this DQFC. Wow, totally flattered. Secondly, I think icons/celebrities is a fantastic theme. I have seen so many awesome, recognizable, iconic, celebrity bimbos and himbos in Bimboland even before this contest theme was announced: Michael Jackson, Cher, Marylin Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Lady Gaga. The list goes on and on. Right now I have an Andy Warhol bimbo in addition to the Freddie Mercury one. There are so many possibilities for this contest. I am sooooo excited to see what you creative people come up with.
Also, if one's favorite celebrity would not be recognized in their street clothes, there's no rule against having them in character, right? Lara Croft - Angelina Jolie, Harry Potter - Daniel Radcliffe, The Crow - Brandon Lee, Tim Curry - Frankenfurter, King Jareth - David Bowie. These are all iconic outfits I've seen in Bimboland already.
I, for one, am excited about this DQFC theme.
Personally think it's a shame if people had to submit themes anonymously because some people can't chill out and realise they won't always like the themes. I'd rather it be that that changed, people taking the choice of DQFC themes too seriously. You won't always like them, get over it.
