Hello, everyone ✨

ꕤ I've really enjoyed being PX these past months and I'd love to keep doing it. Looking back, we've managed to do a lot. Some things were planned from the beginning and others happened along the way. We've had plenty of competitions, themed activities, shop events and, of course, State Wars. It's been lovely seeing so many of you taking part. I am frustrated and sad that our SW experience was cut short but I am happy I got to see once again how quickly the states come together.

ꕤ Being PX involves much more than organizing contests, events and shop activities. It's not about having a title or being in a position where people know your name. There's a lot going on most of the time. Coordinating with the Pink House and State Ministers to handling different situations, discussing proposals with the Purple House and making sure players' concerns are heard. I've been lucky to work with a wonderful group of ministers who have been present through both the fun and the more serious moments. There's actual work involved, and sometimes that work means having difficult conversations, making decisions that won't please everyone, running left and right for answers. You can never make everyone happy, but I do believe you can try to understand people and find a fair way forward.

ꕤ I'd also love to continue as MoF, if you'll have me. I see the shop as a timeline of XL itself. Every era has its own items, trends, styles and people who contributed to it, and I love the idea that what we're adding today will someday be part of those memories too. Together with Melp and the designers, we've been working on keeping the shop active with regular releases, new items, recolors, themed drops and a more organized calendar. These are not exactly news since I’ve been doing this as MoF for a while and I am happy to say that we have a system and it works. I'm also very, very happy to announce that we've finally managed to introduce compensation for our designers this month! It''s something that had been discussed and attempted for a long time, so seeing it actually happen means a lot to me. From now on, and I'll do my best to ensure that this will live on, all designers whose items are approved and uploaded to the shop will be compensated per item at the end of every month. Some version of this did exist before, depending on the MoF. I also did it during my terms but now it's official! Hopefully, there will be more good news like this to share in the future.

ꕤ As for the rest of the PH team:
Minister of Justice - @KirstyD8 will be our lady justice, for which I am both happy and thankful!
Minister of Entertainment - @ur gf calls me mommy will continue sharing her whimsy with us all.
Minister of Foreign Affairs - If anyone is interested, let me know. (You need a Facebook account to get the permissions)

ꕤ As for the rules, the same ones that have guided the website during this term will continue to apply. You can read them here. Players are welcome to disagree, question decisions and express their opinions. What matters is how we treat each other in the process. Fairness, respect and accountability should apply to everyone, and I think we can have disagreements without turning every situation into a conflict. We're all here to enjoy ourselves, after all.

ꕤ Looking ahead, I think this first term has given us a good base to build on. We've found a nice routine, and there are still plenty of things I'd like to work on. At the very top of my list are more outfit slots. We need them so badly! There are other ideas I'd love to bring to life too, but I don't want to make promises that aren't entirely mine to keep. What I can promise is that I'll continue to be present, involved and willing to put in the work.

ꕤ Thank you to everyone who's been part of these past months, to the ministers, designers, state ministers, everyone who's helped and, of course, all of you who have participated, supported our activities or simply enjoyed what we've been doing. I'd love to continue what we've started, bring you more things to enjoy and hopefully make the next few months just as eventful. Thank you for having me as your PX. I hope I've been someone you felt comfortable approaching, someone who helped make your time here a little better. That's what I'd like to continue doing.
