it sounds like he has no real intrest in changing... it sounds like he only wants you "to shut up", so he says he will do better or stop doing something, or he makes you shut up by pointing on your "mistakes".
i can understand that this makes you unhappy!
i think i try to tell him, how his behaviour makes me feel and that i am really unhappy... then see what his reaction is. probably he didn't realize how serious you are about it and did not really understand what consequenzes his behaviour has for you... and you can talk about it again and probably not just talk about what to change but also how to change it (and probably discuss if he/you need some help with that and who could help him/you).

I recently broke up with my bf of almost 4 years. Yes unfortunately he said he couldnt deal with my quadpolar moods ( yet they didnt show up in months) but the time he said ets separate he said it was his fault not mine. sigh its a lot of drama but if its not right love don't stay.

You threw out a very serious red flag in what you said. Abusers blame and go on the attack when confronted. Please take care of yourself. Know I love you as the human being you are. Male nature is uniquely selfish. SEX is a primary concern. A male like you described is in the relationship for sex only, by they way he disregards your feeling's once he has what he want's. The more you let him abuse this love you have for him, the less he will respect you. Isn't that obvious?

So crying about a boyfriend is very pointless if your having sex with him. He will run off with a woman like me without even a second thought about you. I can do things, very few women can do, and men see that as sexual perfection because they are visual animal's. Someone they could never have, without large amount's of money, so small amount's and watching is all they can hope to do. Then they get frustrated and are demanding of MATE's they do have.
I don't mean to make that sound like a threat, but it is a reality. Men like to explore vaginas. If he begins to complain about a home life, he is likely comparing it to another BED.
I really dislike MEN, and I'm not the best one for advice on this subject. As an Exotic Dancer and actress, I was paid by boyfriends like your's to listen to him.
It did little to make me respect the emotions they shared with me. Mostly I had to ignore everything they said. For them, it was always, 'my girlfriend want's this and that, and she is a total bitch.' Dancing while your 'sex' is being disrespected it not an easy thing to do.( women are my sisters and yes, a few men were escorted out with black eyes if they crossed my personal line of disrespect for wives and girlfriends... )

My husband was very similar and now we're divorced so be careful. I married a man I thought was this wonderful kind person. He turned out to be a very selfish, angry, abusive and dishonest man. So if you can't trust him now, marriage won't solve it. Trust me.

WOW! I've been to hell and back several times over with a man and I would never degrade them like what is posted here. Men are no more of animals than women are. Sure it hurts like hell when we love and it doesn't end the way we hoped it would but there is also an equal and opposite effect. It only hurts that much because it was so good.
