Cherri, you made such positive change to Ximboland. You made an excellent guide for moderation + safety that kept us all feeling better, even after the site started allowing trolls to run alts! Your legacy will live on, trust. You were an amazing Prime Bimbo + I'm so sorry that it's come to this. I've thoroughly enjoyed our time together in the PH, especially. You always remained positive and that's something that we all can admire. Take care, Cherri.

Wow this is big. Cherri, you've easily been one of the best PB's yet. I admire your courage and leadership in stepping up to the PB role in a tumultuous time and absolutely kicking ass at it. This news is such a shame yet completely understandable.
Chris has made it clear that he doesn't actually care about democracy or the wishes of the wonderful group of people that have become the site's userbase.
I joined the site because I felt that a slutty dressup game based on politics was so ridiculously perfect, and I've logged in every single day for over two years now. I've found it to be such a delightful medium with which to express myself.
I think that in a perfect world those of us that have cared about this place would be able to take our talents somewhere new, similar to the story of Miss Bimbo before us.
I will be boycotting the site as of April 1st. The decision to transform a republic into a dictatorship is one hypocrisy too far.
I hope anyone that continues to pay for a senatorship at this point is harshly questioning their choice to do so.

About 10 years ago, I played this game with several of my IRL friends. We stopped playing specifically because of Chris’s mismanagement of the site and overall disrespect for the players he relies on. When I came back to create this account in 2019, I was hoping things changed. It hadn’t, so I left again. This month, I decided to try one more time and found a vibrant community full of enthusiastic players, along with representatives that not only listen to what we have to say, but genuinely care. You showcased that everyday through your love and labor in hosting events, managing upper level tasks, or just interacting with players. You stepped up to safeguard us from irresponsible and unethical behaviors from others on the site, including its own management. But that should not be your burden to bear, especially at the expense of your own personal well-being. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for the community, and I completely respect your choice to step down.
As for the issues you’ve been facing, I’m incredibly disappointed, but not surprised. They’ve been going on for years, and I genuinely don’t know if they can be changed. I don’t know if Chris can change. Ranging from the exploitation of volunteer labor, to the misguided attempts at boosting site interactions through ragebaiting and instigation to so much more. These choices are actively harming the community. I don’t know if he has the ability to operate beyond his own ego, even if doing so would improve this website, which is at the end of the day a business. I was considering becoming a paying player, but I won’t be now. Now, what I’m considering is a boycott. I hope others see what you’ve done for us, and that they think on what this community means to them, and what it deserves. It has to be more than this.
