ik this convo is kinda over but another thing i’ve noticed is that the voters sometimes lean towards outfits which are literal and exact representations of the category. as in, i’ve seen a lot of cool and creative outfits lose because the voters aren’t really thinking outside of the box and are instead taking the category too literally.
my retro outfit used to lose a lot of fights (and even now still has a relatively low ‘win’ rate compared to my other fits), because it has a medieval theme and is usually up against like 1920/1930s outfits which people fit more into the definition of ‘retro’.

even though ur party outfit looks slightly busy, i still think its good for the category because of how colourful it is!! going back to what i said, you might find that simply adding a bong or a wine bottle increases ur win rate bc people might start to see it as a literal party look if that makes sense

my red carpet look has lost every fight I've been challenged to :-/ obviously the joint isn't a great touch LOL but is there anything else that's really not working? IA feel like my bg could be better but I feel like the roses work well as a backdrop and can't find much that can be used to frame the bg without hiding it almost completely or clashing really terribly with the outfit/backdrop. I am not willing to lose the joint.
i like the look but i feel like in this case it might be because the hair doesn't quite fit within the headscarf. the makeup is also a bit off because I think you have 4 eyebrows?

i really love that look & im sad to see it flop <:0 i think a lot of people on here have really flashy red carpet looks and because yours is more muted it draws less attention and makes peoples lizard brain go "the other look is bright and shiny so i'll vote for that". it also lowkey has kinda amishy cottagecore vibes and i think people don't rly associate that with the red carpet. the background works well imo so i don't know if it has anything to do with that

ok thank you all for the help <3 tbh i dont rlly mind if it's losing fights, im happy w the look myself, i was just worried it was like really off or ugly or smith and i didn't see it lol! maybe once i get more money ill make a new red carpet look but this one is definitely staying as my main :-)
