I just realized there is no forum posts focusing on reality tv! Personally that has been my favorite form of media for the past 2 years or so. I absolutely LOVE a trashy TV show and extra super bonus points if the characters get wasted most of the time. I am hoping this topic never goes dark because I am always looking for new shows to watch and I hope you PLEASEEEEE tell me your favorites <33 even if unavailable on streaming I may be willing to purchase hahah. Now I will do the honors of sharing my favorite trashy reality TV shows.
1. Bad Girls Club: I put Bad Girls Club (otherwise known as BGC) on the top of the list because there is so many seasons and so many girls to love! The original premise of the show was for a group of "bad girls" who didn't know each other prior to stay together in a house for a few months and see if they can change their bad girl ways. The show shifted a bit because THEY DIDN'T NEED TO STOP BEING BAD! Being a bad girl isn't wrong! Ok well some of the girls are just bad bitches and some are absolutely nuts but either way... I'm sat and invested. Takes a few episodes to get into and if you don't like the season you start with after episode 1 TRY ANOTHER SEASON. Every season is so different so once you get hooked on a season you'll get hooked on the show MWAH. This show isn't like the new Natalie Nunn Baddies, this show actually has a premise. Every season you get to learn about a few girls personal struggles in life and it's honestly really comforting as a young "bad girl" myself just figuring out life. I would KILL to be on that show (it's not on anymore).

2. Pretty Wild: Ok THISSSS is my favorite reality show EVER. It only has one season but it's so iconic. Has anyone watched Bling Ring or heard the "Nancy Jo... this is Alexis Niers calling" meme? Well this show follows Alexis Niers herself who was caught as apart of the bling ring. The show also follows her best friend/ sister Tess Taylor, younger sister Gabby, and ex model Buddhist guru mother. The sisters Tess Taylor and Alexis Niers revealed that while filming the show they were addicted to every drug in the book. So essentially they are super high the entire series. The younger sister claims she only smoked weed and she does look super stoned throughout the series as well. The girls are aspiring models, they go out with musicians, they party, Alexis Niers deals with her court case and getting arrested on screen, the moms a nut. The show is truly heaven.

3. Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair: This is the most low key reality show ever. I have never heard anyone talk about it before. Essentially this guy named Frank (apparently used to be slightly relevant) landed a reality dating tv show. The premise is that he is still living in his parents basement and one of these girls is going to get him out of the basement. So like 10 girls come and stay in his parents house with him and compete. It's just a ridiculous show because it's soooo 2000's like WHO IS THIS GUY. The challenges are so so funny and none of the girls have any real chemistry with him because he's just a buff airhead type of dude. The girls are really really funny and have unique interesting styles and personalities (not like dating shows today where, not to be rude, but they all act generally the same IG model vibe and it's boring). I recommend.

4. Jersey Shore: I don't think I have to explain Jersey Shore to anyone
season 1-2 free on plutoTV, otherwise gotta be a pirate
5. Vanderpump Rules: I am JUST getting into this show but I am absolutely living for the drama. Also as someone who lives near LA I love a show with a. bunch of cunty out of touch LA residents (no joke, NO HATE). They are so fucked up all the time and apparently it just gets progressively more apparent that they're all on drugs so I can't wait lolll. When people are wasted on reality TV u know it's not scripted anymore like that's RAW. I just got to the end of season 1 and I am fully invested.
