amber here with the monthly contest theme suggestion thread!
if you have a suggestion for this month's atheista-only contest, please submit it in this thread :-)
we're starting a little late due to a personal emergency on my end, but we're just going to make the suggestion and poll windows a little shorter this month. february having only 28 days isn't super great in terms of logistics, but we're rolling with it.
to that end, suggestions will be open starting today and will last until saturday, february 18th, 23:59 XL time, after which no further suggestions will be accepted. because of the past amount of poll responses on our tiebreaker, i'm comfortable with having the poll only last from sunday, february 19th, until tuesday, february 21st, 23:59 XL time. the contest itself will still be about a week, lasting from february 22nd until february 28th at 23:59 XL time - prizes will go out following the end of the contest.
there won't be banners for this contest, but there is something else coming up occurring between the end of february and the start of march that will have them ;-)
some rules for theme submission:
please only submit a theme if you are from atheista, as you won't be able to participate in the contest if you are from another state ♡ (at the very least, you will not be eligible to place)
when submitting a theme, please submit only one theme per forum post (you can submit multiple themes, just remember to break them up in multiple posts)
lastly, and most importantly, please include a description with your theme, or it will not be eligible for the poll. if a theme without a description were to win, people might struggle to create an outfit that fits the theme well, or could have different interpretations of the theme from others. therefore, descriptions are necessary for ease of outfit creating :-)
for submissions, please follow this format:
Theme title (can be lowercase if you like!)
A theme description (two sentences or more describing your idea is preferable)
please note that if your submission does not meet these rules, it will not be eligible to be placed in the upcoming poll for this month's theme. i'll be a little flexible on formatting, since that's just how i would prefer it for ease of putting into the poll / presenting as a winning theme (please follow it, though), but if your suggestion doesn't meet one of the bullet points, it won't be added.
