How's the autumn going in US, Railophone? We already got some minus degrees at night in Finland, and I have had to scratch the ice away from my cars window on couple mornings :D I love autumn but it takes forever to get used to that cold weather. :S When we take our dog for a walk in the evening I'm already wearing my winter jacket lol :D

I'm currently in Virginia, where the weather is confused. Some days it's really hot, and other days it's chilly. I never know how to dress! I personally like fall weather over spring/summer due to my allergies, haha. I almost always feel more cozy/comfortable in the fall and winter.
I haven't been able to whip out any of my jackets yet LOL. I did wear a sweater for the last 5 weeks, but only because I needed to look professional. I was definitely sweating by the time I had to leave the hospital to go home though.

Oh my, well I can tell for sure that we are not going to have any hot days for a while now :D The weather forecast told that it's about to snow here soon :( Well, at least it will be more simple here than you have over there, just have to wear as much clothes as I can lol :D

Omg snow in October already? O_o If we're lucky we maybe see snow durin' the winter! Last year it was so sunny and warm in December that I ended up hiking in only a t-shirt. I definitely didn't catch a cough that lasted 3 months. Anyway, the weather's pleasantly warm right now, 'bout 15-20 °C on most days. Still okay for short sleeves. And yeah, go autumn, the season with no hay fever :P

Do you have longer winters than summers? For us it's not long anything, but we tend to have really delayed seasons... like when it's supposed to be fall it's still summer. When it's supposed to be spring, it's still winter - stuff like that. When it gets cold, it can get really cold. Just like when it gets hot, it can get really hot. The climate used to be better maybe 10-20 years ago, but it's gotten less temperate as the years have gone on.

Yes, snow, this is Lapland! :D Usually the first snow comes in October but it wont stay at last. Our winter is longer than summer - unfortunately. On the "best" years we may have snow from October to May.
I also saw the first Northern Lights for this autumn last week. Apparently cameras on phones have gotten waaaaay better and this was the first time I was able to catch them by camera. (Hold your horses, I will send you the pic as soon as I go to my phone :D ).
It would never be possible to wear a t-shirt for hiking here in December! The idea sounds way too absurd and if you did that, you would end up with frostbites and hypothermia :D

Yeah, with my previous phone I could only get a totally black sky even it was full of Northern Lights. Obviously the professional pics about northern lights are the best but I never got so excited about photographing even it seems like a great hobby! :O Anyone does that?
Photography used to be a big hobby of mine before I went to college. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to continue my hobby, so now my camera is at my parents' house. I may have the time to pick it up again once I graduate from pharmacy school though.
