Honestly I’m still really sad about the Cody Ko situation. I loved his videos ever since I was a teenager. I loved listening to his music and podcasts as well and they always cheer me up. His silence throughout this controversy breaks me. No one’s perfect, but I don’t understand why he did what he did and why he’s still remaining silent about this. I can’t consume his content anymore without seeing him as this different person. I’m just devastated.
i even planned on using his vine audios to make animatics for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, but damn that aged poorly. Guess that ideal’s thrown in the trash.

^^^ while im not personally attached to cody ko, i was a huge shane dawson girly for a long time. found him when i was 10 and watched his whole catalogue. he still makes content that ill put on in the background from time to time, but i dunno, the messiness of it all deters me from seeking out his content again. i do think its a bit funny that people actually think he di stuff with his cat, when he certainly didnt, its a clip from a podcastin a time where his whole thing was shock humor. but the whole orchestration of the beauty creator drama was... sad to say the least
