HADES ; greek god of death and the underworld

Hades was the child of Cronus and Rhea, however upon his birth, he was swallowed by his father in fear that his offspring might take his throne. Later on, when his brother Zeus was born, Rhea tricked Cronus into swallowing a rock rather than his son, and when Zeus was of age, he forced his father to regurgitate his siblings, including Hades, who would go on to become the god of death and the underworld.

He became a feared figure in ancient Greece, so much so that humans didn’t dare speak his name. Greeks used a myriad of euthanisums to describe the deity, including:

“Zeus of the Underworld”

“The Other Zeus”

“The Infernal Zeus”

“The Grisly God”

“The Host of Many”

“The Attractor of Man”

While he was heavily feared, Hades was more altruistic in nature than most ancient Greeks realized. He defended the rights of the dead and focused his attention on his domain only.

In my look, i have used a variety of inspirations and ideas to pull it together. The translucent purple skin showing the skeleton underneath was inspired by the Monster High doll River Styxx, the daughter of the grim reaper, and aptly named after the river of the underworld that hades ruled over. Obviously I have included a lot of symbolism pertaining to death, with the skulls by Hades feet as well as on her shoulders, and the bones on her corset. I wanted her outfit to be heavily lingerie inspired, as sex and sexuality, especially in women, is a taboo subject, as death also is, and i thought it made an interesting connection.

i know i wasn't supposed to write a whole essay, but i put a lot of thought into my look, and what can i say.....i got carried away...hehe (*/ω＼) anywayz......hope you like the look !!

Apollo played music for the Greek gods and goddesses on his golden lyre, and also taught humans the art of medicine and is sometimes referred to as 'The Healer', having the ability to heal people of disease. Apollo was the one that established the great Oracle of Delphi, which was considered the center of the ancient world.

For my god, I chose Dionysus for my look and make a high fashion look inspired by them!

I work purple and green to represent the grapes the wine was fermented from and accented the look with gold to show Dionysus' godliness!

For her many faces, as also a protector of the home, especially as the triple goddess as the mother, the maiden and the crone. I hope I was able to depict such a goddess well.

Goddess of the moon, and the embodiment of the moon, friends with fellow moon goods Hecate and Artimis, sister to Helios (the sun) and Eos (the dawn). She's more Titan than Olympian, probably, but she's too iconic not to let in the club. Her conquest are as Mighty as Zeus himself and as depraved as non other than Pan!

In short, she knows how to have a good time and outlast a regime change, now THAT is what I call winning.
