I feel so much better knowing I'm not the only one who has had this problem! I went to the front office today and they said this happens in the winter here because of the field behind my apartment building. They are going to set up bait traps outside around the building and they dont use rat poisoning so that is good! They were also shocked that there were sticky traps in my apartment and they said that the person before me must have placed those. I also feel better knowing they are just tiny field mice, at least they aren't rats!!

I don't really have a lot of tips on getting rid of rats as it's not a huge problem in Singapore. I'm not sure if it's the humidity or we just don't have a lot. Sorry! But I wish you luck in getting rid of them. Do keep us updated so we know if they're gone. Good luck! :)

OK it starts with Mice, but that sure is disgusting, and we killed the little rodents.
Problems?
My entire work section needs an over-haul in staff training and I was tapped to do it. Even though I was the newest hire. They don't know I come with an experience level of 26 years. Training people who resent you due to personal ego is very hard, because they always think their way is best. If it was I wouldn't have been sent in/ ripped from retirement, to train them. What they don't understand is the company is trying to salvage the investment they have in that employee. This is like their last chance before termination and they see it as an insult to them personally that I've been ordered to train them. What I hate the most is having to let them see then results of a failure made by them. I'm not shy about taking field trips as a learning experience. I once made an employee of mine attend a funeral with me, while on the clock and still in his cover-all's... It often is the only way to re-build good work habits in very ego oriented men. Start from scratch.
That is in my Real Life right now, currently this week and I gave this company only 2 month's of my time contracted in this position before I want my original 'new-hire' spot again. This has the company so confused, but they haven't made an acceptable offer yet that beats my opening pay scale and duties. I like that job and they can't force promotions.
How would you handle that life problem?.
Lucky for most it wouldn't be a problem at all. To me it is one that is absurd, to have to endure in semi-retirement because the world bores me. I love my Big Glass House on the hill. I really do. I think most would say it is disgusting that I have that, as a self-perceived, personal problem.
At the same time I'm trying to over-haul Bimboland's. It is like trying to do the same job twice even during recreation. Of course I should be used to that. In flight school I would train for a few hours and then hop onto a flight Simulator, and fly for a dozen more hours. It became an addiction. Still, I can only take actual flying for 3 hours in real life before I need to land, and just look up at the sky and be thankful that I did that.

The other week when I started my new job, I had to have a tour as part of my induction. I was shown the delivery area out back by a manager and she was like "Sometimes we get mice running around here, but don't freak out because they're only little cute mice - Not rats!"
