Judge this pink outfit above (with the shorts): personally, I feel the (original) skirt felt too weighed down by the long locks of deep pink hair.

Alternating between these two versions appropriately, keep it cordial, thank you.

Overall, @SilentlyScreaming, I like the rainbows and neons used. You have an eye for digitals better than I do. (9.8/10 ☆)

So, the feedback I am looking for is if the shorts or skirt looks better e.g. for a Spring 'Seasonal' ensemble?

I agree that the skirt was making the outfit feel a bit disproportionate. The attention was going straight to the layers instead of the look as a whole.

That said, I’m not completely convinced by the shorts either. I think the issue is that they feel a little static, if that makes sense. Since it’s a fairy look, I almost expect something with more movement.

I took a quick look at the Shop and gathered a few options you could try — if you feel like experimenting, of course. The shorts do look good, but it still feels like something is missing.

Alternatively, unless it’s not your preference, you could add some accessories to pull more attention to the outfit itself rather than the hair. Even playing with the hair layering or positioning might help rebalance things.

I know that’s a lot of thoughts, but this outfit genuinely makes me happy. It reminds me so much of the Fairytopia dolls I’ve been wanting to buy lately to heal my inner child a little.

Also, love the nail polish color choice.

Anywho.
This was one of the first outfits I made when I came back earlier this year. Looking at it again now, I think the hair might actually be what’s throwing me off the most. I’d love to hear more opinions on it, though.

All the different fabrics and beads are spot on! Such a vibe! The hair + thigh tattoo *chefs kiss*
I can see the band above your elbow though, I feel like it should be something darker if your gonna see it. Could be because I'm familiar with that brown/beige band item. At first look without picking it apart 10/10!! I'm all the time voting for your creations!

A couple of changes I made since then:
• Item layering
• Added in jewelry, i.e. flower-shaped earrings
• Added-in digitals, particularly rainbow-coded, e.g. sparkles & glows
• Framing

I listened to your suggestions, and I took them well, but I tried those skirts out, but even with the changed layering it just hadn't felt complementary. I know the Lily top that I am using has a skirt counterpart, but I find it too frilly and rounded for my liking. I do keep the colors in mind though when it comes to arranging my outfits, typically.

I am glad that it reminded you of Barbie Fairytopia because it was meant to have that whimsical charm to it. This may be one of my only looks that uses an unnatural skin tone. And, I am glad my 'Seasonal' outfit makes you happy since it's Spring-themed.

Love your gothic layering as always, @AnnaMorphosis, best regards.
