tw rape/sexual assault & harassment.
So I have this ex-friend. I do not like this person. We used to be close and then she decided to get a life and stop speaking to me on the regular because her irl life was more important than our friendship. Which you know; okay, fine. If that's your priorities then you go enjoy your life and I will move on with mine. At one point she decided to come over to a house-warming party for me a while back, I wont go into details about that but during this her girlfriend sexually assaulted me while my ex-friend was in the room, she (ex-friend) told me to "just give up, she wont stop anyway.". When I talked about the issues I had with it the next day they decided to turn around and say "but you did -this- there's no difference between the two." (except you know, she consented and laughed when I did it and when she did that to me I asked her to stop repeatedly.) After that we stopped talking nearly altogether for about two years.
About a month ago she started talking to me again on skype. I felt uncomfortable but tried to be polite when talking to her. The next day I was filled with anxiety and depression thanks to bringing back the memories of what happened at the house-warming party and decided we should just end our interactions. So I deleted her off my skype and unfriended her and her girlfriend from facebook and decided that was that. Except today she decided to send me a message on Facebook asking me "Any particular reason to why I've been deleted off everything :/ "
After calming down from the anxiety attack I had from getting this message I replied, "We're not friends and seeing you around gives me anxiety. Please can you not send me messages anymore and not join the new miss bimbo (I mention this because she used to be on the old missbimbo and this place has been a safe space for me so far). I would really rather this be over for good. We used to be friends, and that was great and good while it lasted, but we really aren't anymore and I would like to move on. Please respect that."
I hoped that this would be the last of it but just to be safe, I blocked her on facebook and left. Cue to now I receive a text from her saying "I hope you realise that I cant reply to your facebook reply. Thats fine and all dandy with me, but I'd rather not leave it on a sour note seeing as last time we spoke we were fine :/" a little while later she texted me again saying "Btw your new hair looks freaking awesome.".
I started to freak out a bit and I left the message not sure what to do or if I should reply, so I didn't and put my phone away. Lo and behold later on facebook I receive a message from her girlfriend (yes that one) saying, "Hi -name-, wanted me tell you your hair is awsome";
I know its stupid to get so upset over something like that, its not what they said but its the fact that they literally would not leave me alone and continued to send me messages long after I asked them to leave me alone. I'm starting to get the picture that they are going to harass me no matter how many times I block them and I'm worried that they are going to show up on here now too. I really don't want to seem like I'm overreacting but I cant with them being anywhere near me after what happened. I'm not really sure if there's anything I can do about this... Its been a really bad day.
