The thing is, this game has a plot. You do that because Earth has gone to fuckall and you were probably the sole survivor as a result. Earth, in this future, was where the Academy (where u learn how to be Captain Kirk in a more family-friendly context since u don't do handholding with a Vulcan ig) where everyone, not just humans, traveled to get their starfleet captain diploma(tm). But anyway, it has gone to shit, u can play as some funky alien races and none of them are furry bait, plot's centered around all races uniting to defeat greater cosmic horror evil and u can shoot it with the BFG from Doom if u find it on a planet
Oh also there's a spear that has its special power be time stop and everyone agreed it deserved to be modded to yell "Za Warudo" and do the PBBBBT bass boosted sound that comes with it 10/10 I actually need to go back to playing it to complete my intergalactic bug collection
