hey I'm George. (female not male)
I believe I am finally truely happy. I met this guy 2 years ago at a summer music school. He didn't even do anything, yet he stood out. I thought he was mysterious looking and I was intrigued. The day went on and we got put into bands and then I saw we had been put in the same band. I was the singer and he was the drummer. we kept making eye contact accidentally. I could tell he was really shy and reserved but heck he was a good drummer. this burst of courage hit me. I'm not a very talkative person but I just thought 'fuck it' and decided to talk to him. it was painful trying to talk cause he was extremely shy I could see.
so for the rest of the week I just kept trying to talk to him. Friday night after the big performance he messaged me it was something like "your rocked". I was over the moon. over the week I had grown so attached to him. it was strange I had only met this guy a few days ago yet I felt like id known him for ages. but then, of course there had to be something off. he told me that he had been talking to this girl which he had never met but she was going to move to Australia so he wanted wait for her even though he told me he liked me a lot. I cried. it was the first time I ever cried myself to sleep.
however something happened and we just kept talking. we lived 5 hours from each other. slowly we became best friends. 10 months later we saw each other again. he sneaked out of the house to see me because I was staying in his town that night for a wedding. we met up at 11pm and he left at 2am. we just talked the whole time. we were both really anxious. we also had our first kiss together that night.
uhhhh fast forward we now both see each other everyday and I stay at his house often. he has taught me so much. I now can just be myself. I can eat without feeling guilty, I dont have to fake tan to feel pretty and I'm not trying to be someone I'm not.
we are both aspiring musicians and love green day and slipknot.
