In 2010, American rock band My Chemical Romance released their last album - Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys. And in 2012, a comic series by lead singer Gerard Way was released with the same name. The storyline is all too familiar to all us zone-rats today - a group of young rebels fighting to stay alive in a world that seems to be against them, fighting against an evil megacorp that wants to rule the world and keep the citizens of their city complacent and quiet.
So what is he point of this contest, my android girls?
Create your rebellious, post-apocalyptic outfit! Even if you don't like the band or the album, this contest will be a fun and shiny way to show off your self expression and your post-apocalyptic outfit. The world is a system failure for the masses, and we're drowning in the antimatter! So all you rock'n'rollers, all you crash queens and motor babies, listen up -
There's a few guidelines for this competition. Not many, but just a few.
I want this contest to be fun and open to everyone. That means I will be allowing outfits screenshotted from the shop. I know it's hard to make a full, affordable, outfit at times.If any himbos decide to enter, I will a bit more lenient, as you guys have less shop items than bimbos. But still be creative! Don't be afraid to get weird, eccentric, funky, bright, shiny, etc, etc. This ain't an audition- it's opening night!You must have a name with your character! Can't have someone usin' their real name when you don't know who could be listening. (ex: Agent Arsenic, Wild Fire, etc.)Outfit example:
There will be banners made for the winners, and I can attempt to make banners for the participants, but I am currently a student, so I cannot promise they'll come quick.
Prizes will be as follows:
1st Place Winner - $2000 B$ + 100 Diamonds
2nd Place Winner - $2000 B$ + 50 Diamonds
3rd Place Winner - $1500 B$ + 50 Diamonds
4th Place Winner - $1500 B$ + 25 Diamonds
5th Place Winner - $1000 B$ + 25 Diamonds
Contest dates will be from April 10th to April 17th. Winners will be announced between April 18th-21st.
