It is time once again to introduce the new theme for May.  This is what I came up with :

Have you ever been to a Renascence fair?
I was always fascinated by people who would dress in period style costumes.  May is an important month.  It is the opposite of All Hallows Eve. Birth and New Life is the celebration in costume this month.  Dancing around the May Pole may be a nearly forgotten tradition except by those wonderful people who keep the past alive.
Every English town used to have one.  It's become a children's holiday, like so many others. Even forgotten in most quarters. What I remember most was the costumes people in attendance were wearing. '
Join me in wearing any outfit, you think would represent a Merry-begotten' from a by gone era. Think like a wood land elf, or a perspective bride to a Prince. Dance around the May Pole with ribbons in your finest colors if that is your desire. Show your style with something a knight or Maiden would find alluring and flirtatious in a century long past...

Here is a few other fascinating items I didn't use in my official description:

In the Middle Ages every English village had its Maypole. The bringing in of the Maypole from the
woods was a great occasion and was accompanied by much rejoicing and merrymaking. The Maypoles
were of all sizes. And one village would vie with another to show who could produce the tallest
Maypole

May-pole most clearly remains today. It is the phallus, the male principle of fertilization.
Female principles are represented by baskets and wreaths used in the dances around the pole.
 In past times,
the dances would give young couples license to “go into the green” together.

In some regions, a Merlin, or renegade friar, would preside over the mock marriages.
 Even today, unwed couples
consummate the mock marriages performed around the May-pole.

Merry-begat's, as the resultant offspring were called in England, were usually not acknowledged by their fathers.
These babies were said to have been fathered by god

PS :
Don't forget to check out the winners from the contest in April.  They looked every bit the theme.

When does voting start? Is a way that we can vote more than just when we log in being worked on?

I have no idea as well, but since the sign ups already ended, shouldn't we be voting by now?
