Happiness is inside yourself
It was a warm day in July, supposed to be the best day in her life. She stood there in her weddingdress, feeling the sand between her toes and the wind in her hair, waiting for him. But he never showed. Torn apart by sadness she drowned herself on the very same beach they were supposed to become husband and wife.
But the lady in white couldn’t find peace.
Driven mad by the loneliness she decided that noone on that beach deserved the happy ending she never got.
She now roams the shore, stealing children away and leading them to a cave nearby.
Knowing that the children can’t be there with her forever, she cooks them in her cauldron and feasts on the soup, with the idea that they will be a part of her for all eternity.
EDIT: I hope this fits the theme as a ”monster” on the beach even tho she isn’t partying

What happens when a mermaid named Marina makes a deal with the devil to end some foul fishermen? Well deals with the devil always have their pros and cons. Pros: demon powers, dead sailors, and a sick new hybrid look. Cons: She ends up spending summer on the sweltering beaches of hell. It's a little dry for her tastes (gotta stay hydrated!!) but you really can't beat the tan.

MISSION STATUS: Integration so far has been successful. The inhabitants of this planet regularly take part in leisure activities at a location known as: "The Beach". When running, my face prosthesis almost detached itself; had I been discovered, the mission would have immediately terminated. I have come across an entity known as "The Ocean" which appears to be composed of water. A malignant substance that causes me to malfunction and short-circuit whenever I come into direct contact. Every summer, Serena and her elder sister, Selene, travel to a beautiful camp on Antitheocra. Since she was a very romantic creature, she eventually meet a boy who work there and they fall in love. However, their romance must be kept as a secret to the world, since he was poor. The only people who knows her secret was Selene. With her help, the couple mannage to spend a good time together, since she covers her sister's lies and keeps the other rich kids in the dark.
Those love story goes on and on, until her father got sick. Knowing that her father won't last for too long, Selena got a plan. She wrote a fake letter where the poor boy asks to see Serena at the lake, in the middle of the night, in order to see the beautiful, full moon who glows at the sky. When they finally come, Serena didn't see her boyfriend anywhere. Her sister, however, managed to sothe her heart. "He will be right there", she said. And them, the two girls toke her clothes and start swimmering in the warm, clear water. When she gets tired, Selene drowns her younger sister and stuffed her month with stones, sinking her body.
In the morning, she was nowhere to be find. However, Selene "find" the letter and convinced her friends that the boy who was dating Serena was the murder and later that night, the rich kids decide to kill him in the same way that he supposed have murdered her girlfriend. Since that day, when it's summer and the full moon bright on the sky, the ghost of the drowned girl appears at the bottom of the lake, calling for her sister. And if you got near enough from the water to see her beautiful, shimmering eyes, she will drag you to your death, seeking for revenge.
