The only music I don't enjoy is country and dirty/trashy rap... My favourites are probably Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, Matthew Good, and Emily Haines.

I Challenged him to play for a live performance. His Jaw Dropped, and the dust bunnies danced on his face.

Music in the studio is not played on a phone. That man earned access to my equipment, and I've never been disappointed in his art. It's so fun to have such fun friends to entertain you. I love dancing with Jackie while her boyfriend provides the music. For some reason he just loves to strum the strings of my mothers guitar. I never thought much of it, but it is always the first instrument he picks up. I love to hear him play it so MUCH !!!!!
I just don't know how to express my affection for his skills. It wouldn't be good. Jackie's boy friend is off-limits for me.
One talent a boyfriend may have, is not enough to ruin a beautiful friendship between girlfriends..

Modern music seems to really lack the poetry of songs of the past. Music lyrics have become repetitive, and really has no message anymore, except a catchy sentence fragment at best. Not all performers are that lazy, but how many one song wonders are playing on the radio right now? Will any of them be remembered? Why do people still listen to the music from the late 1960's and early 1970's ?. Music was real in those days. None of the digitized and altered and edited into a form of music, more worthy of a drone, than a human ear.
This Song by 'Bojangles' made in the 1930's is actually one of my inspirational dance pieces. As a Black man, he was so good to be allowed to dance in an era of extreme racism in America in movies. He even used his own mouth as the a band, This dance was done completely without any music at all except his talent. I appreciate his talent today. Watch this tap dance. and the singing ,It is totally amazing even after 75 years. Few artists today could ever perform live like that without stage magic. He didn't let the establishment of the era of discrimination stop him from being the first black dancer who became famous. Instead he was 20 times better than the most handsome man on the silver screen in Hollywood in the 1930's.
I got my start in Tap dance too. I never even heard of him till I was an adult and began to watch Shirley Temple movies.
Well what can I say? The man is totally brilliant and a total treat to watch dance and sing 75 years ago. Modern bands will never be that memorable in the future. The Music is all fake now and made mostly with computers. Some songs are good, but music has really become generic in a sense. No SOUL.
I love Jazz Music, even though it has been transformed into rap music, which is just a good beat with nasty words, and hate. Music evolves. I try to just go with the flow, but real music just sounds better to me. People used to actually need to play instruments in a band, or dance with real feet...
Who is Lady GaGa's band? A great singer, and song writer. So what is her band? A computer programmed on a keyboard alone.
Angie Stone is a singer. She doesn't seem to have a band ether. Just an awesome voice.
Now lets just explore something that is totally pathetic Little girls trying to sing a totally meaningless song, by Nicki Minja Super bass? or super stupid. Heck, she obviously has a good manager, because her talent was fluffy at best. Where is she now?

My taste in music is somewhat eclectic. My favorite genre is dark cabaret, which I'm sure just about no one here has heard of. If you're at all interested in trying something new, I recommend checking out Birdeatsbaby or Vermillion Lies. Gone/What the Water Gave Me are my personal favorite Birdeatsbaby songs and you can't go wrong with Circus Apocalypse or Long Red Hair when it comes to Vermillion Lies. Another individual earlier also happened to mention The Dresden Dolls, which is also often lumped into the genre. If you've happened to have heard of them and have only listened to Coin-Operated Boy, you're doing them and yourselves a disservice. First and foremost, I'd recommend checking out Missed Me. Some of Amanda Palmer's solo stuff is pretty great as well, though I'm personally not a fan of her newest album. Still, Bad Wine and Lemon Cake will forever give me goosebumps.
