Once some of the forum rules are understood, this really would become a self-policing situation. When it comes to TV shows I would be clueless, but the posters are not. If they see a problem and come to me with it, and explain the situation then I can make a judgement. There is also State Ministers that also may have an understanding I do not have about the subject matter. With entertainment topics, I think only the opening posters would have the final say, if they felt a thread-jacking has occurred or not. Even if the title is different, but the topic of conversation is exactly the same in a new thread, that is also a thread-jacking. I would still wait for an official complaint by the original opening poster because I wouldn't know if they are the same or not without understanding the flow of the conversations in the threads. I would need to be told what to look for and then read for myself, to decide. Ideally, I would also utilize PBB's in this situation too. They also might be in a situation where they might better understand a thread topic as a fan themselves.

The search function for the forum makes it very easy to find established threads that may have the same title/topic. Just enter in a desired title, and check first. This will become very important as the population grows and several pages of topics are written in every day.

Ahh, I think I may know you^ from the old days of Miss Bimbo. I was a Ninjah Thread Kill'a in Miss Bimbo. I still have the banners to prove it. I've changed ways. My art was killing conversations with fact's, skills and science. Funny how that works out that way.
Yes you know me. I still have you as a contact in one of my old email accounts. Ah, killing a convo by stating all the facts that could ever possibly be stated on a topic. Then my favorite, the ninja killing of dead threads that have been forgotten long ago. I don't think that one will ever leave me. I have since learned the art of ninja'ing quitters. Keep them live on forums and in game long after they've gone, in some incidents for years. :P
