I personally don't want others to copy my outfits. But they can be inspired from them. <3
Opinion On People Copying Looks
i honestly can't stand being copied anymore. i try to deal with it in silence, i even try to make friends with people who copy me, but it's so unfair, and i don't feel like i can even talk about it because when i tried 4 years ago people said i should just accept it. sometimes i get angry when i see someone new doing this, other times i try to talk to them. but you should see the responses, how they feel entitled to do this... like "yes, i was "inspired" by you, but i like how it turned out and i'm not going to change". and the feeling of injustice is even worse when people praise these clones. and honestly, this is a game about creativity. it doesn't make sense that we don't have strict rules about copying others especially when there are so many contests going on all the time and someone can get the prize for something that wasn't their idea.
here's an example of when someone copied my look for the pbfc. my look wasn't originally created for the pbfc. it was created in mid-2021 based on marie antoinette, and in november 2022 someone suggested the "rococo" theme for the pbfc. so someone who decided to participate came to my profile to copy and paste my look, making some changes, of course, so it wouldn't seem so obvious. i won't say the name because my intention is not to expose or attack anyone. but i wish people could understand how unfair it is.

I do agree that people shouldn't copy you entirely. That is extremely wrong and I'm so sorry to hear that you tried to deal with it in silence. :(

I do agree that nobody should use other people's outfits for contests.
It's certainly really annoying, back in high school I would feel really bad when all of my friends copy my style, even buying the same things as me. I was a bit of a trendsetter hehe, but it would tick me off in an unreasonable amount...after a few therapy sessions I felt more comfortable with it and I learned to accept it. It's cute that people look up to me and I enjoy it, despite me having mixed emotions. I also try to come and accept it because as an artist, we "steal" and "copy" a lot, but it's mostly in the form of inspo. I think copying is okay, but I think people should take more effort into using inspiration than copying
never used to bother me until someone did it without acknowledging their inspiration for a look i did, irks me a touch ngl but there's bigger issues in the world 
I don't have loads of people copying my outfits, but it does bother me a little. its not a huge deal, but i saw it a little in the last pxfc where i used a very specific (not super popular, like, minimum 10 or so pages into the shop) item and suddenly it popped up in other peoples outfits; i didnt really mind that much but i could tell people were getting it from me, so it was a tiny bit weird
i only block copycats & people that keep spying on my account for no reason other than copying every fckng look :))
