I too like that me as a broke person can still thrive on here without having to pay (✿❛◡❛)
But if I can afford it in the future I would love to be a senator. I pressed "more perks" But I dont know because I also dont want those who pay to have it like 1000000 times easier in the game cus it would feel boring and almost pointless to play then.. So kind of ambivalent <3

No, it was never meant to make it impossible to play if you don't pay or to have poor chances in competing with senators. But it is also nice to show more appreciation to senators because they keep the game going on for everyone.

i've heavily considered applying for senator, but i don't know if i can justify a monthly subscription just based on the perks (like the additional outfit slots, as princessaphrodite said) as well as other things that i have to pay monthly for. maybe further down the line i can help the site financially but idk right now!

You get a lot of other perks actually. Slots are something you can buy and have without being subscribed. If you want to try it out now it's probably the best time because you can get not only regular bonuses but also a lot of State Wars points. As treasury purchase it gives you a lot of points + as a senator you get doubled points for each action.
You can get it for one month only if your prefer it that way to try. After subscribing you can cancel it so you don't get billed by default next month.

Im from Poland and fee for senatorship is a bit huge (for ours money). Im considering being a senator but i think some more perks would be nice. For me it will be more B$ like i dunno 10 000k monthly or sth like it.
