Hello everyone,

I wanted to write a few words and introduce you to the new Pink House team, but before getting into everyone’s roles, I thought it might be helpful to give a little context on how things work behind the scenes. A lot of the work that goes into keeping Ximboland running happens in the background, so I thought this would also be a good opportunity to recap a few things in a bit more detail. Some of this might simply serve as a reminder to longtime players, but hopefully it will also help newer members understand the system a little better.

Purple House (formerly the Boob Palace) is the home of the Presidential administration (admin team): Miss Bimbo/SweetasNuts and Sachem. This is the team responsible for the overall direction, development and management of Ximboland. They oversee the website itself and implement updates/features.

Pink House is the home of Ximboland's player-elected government. Every three months, players elect a Prime Ximbo, who then appoints their cabinet: the Minister of Justice, Minister of Entertainment, Minister of Fashion & Minister of Foreign Affairs. They work together to improve the community through events, competitions, moderation, player initiatives and representing the interests of Ximboland's citizens during their term in office.

State Ministers are also part of the Pink House. They are elected every four months to represent one of the six states and are independent of the Prime Ximbo. Their responsibilities are similar to those of the appointed ministers, but this position does not come with any tools. They oversee their town halls, organize events & relay suggestions from their state members to the Prime Ximbo. Anyone can take part in the elections and I highly encourage you to do so!

As you can already guess, all of this is entirely community-driven. Every contest, every event, every shop update, every recolor and every improvement exists because players volunteer their own time to create something for everyone else to enjoy. It goes deeper than “giving money to the website”. Without some of the players buying diamonds, there would be fewer ways to reward participation and keep the community active.

Same goes for the Shop. Both the fashion managers and the designer positions are volunteer-based and they are free to choose which requests they would like to work on. This is where the Minister of Fashion (MoF) comes in: to activate items, to support, coordinate and help keep the shop active through contests, new launches, shop events and other initiatives. While every request is seen and appreciated, submitting one does not guarantee that it will be made. Inspiration, time and personal preference all play a role & that's completely okay.

The Minister of Justice oversees the community guidelines and helps ensure they are applied. Their responsibilities include reviewing reports, moderating forum activity, addressing rule violations, updating policies when necessary and working with the Prime Ximbo and fashion police to maintain a safe environment. Please remember that simply disliking someone is not a good enough reason to keep reporting them. Reports need to be taken seriously for everyone to be able to do their part in the best way possible.

The Fashion Police consists of a small team of players who need to be active, fair and impartial. They are expected to apply the rules consistently and objectively and, just like every other player, they are equally bound by those same rules.

The Minister of Entertainment is responsible for keeping the community engaged through contests, games and crazes. It's a role that requires creativity, good timing and an understanding of when to bring the excitement without overdoing it.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is the link between Ximboland and the outside world. Their main responsibilities include managing the Ximboland’s social media presence, creating and publishing engaging content, promoting community events, designing promotional materials when needed & helping attract both new and returning players while keeping the existing community informed and engaged.
