I agree. I think that there could definitely be a balance.
If the rich weren't so rich maybe the poor wouldn't be so poor.

It's sad that people have to live their days constantly struggling. Don't get me wrong most of us are struggling ourself. But please give please help your fellow man.
I was thinking the other night, that we spend money buying gifts for people who can afford their own shit. So as oppose to doing that, why dont we give gifts or meals to the people that can't afford on the person we wanted to buy a present for behalf.
Poverty is often caused by the choice's people make. This is always an uncomfortable TRUTH, especially for the impoverish.
It might be easy to say if the rich were not so rich than everyone would be equal., Of course this is totally UNTRUE.
Some people CHOSE to work harder than other people.
Is it fair to punish these successful people to pay for Drug user's and perfectly healthy welfare individuals, who chose to do nothing with their live's?
Using poverty as an excuse to assault anyone with something they 'DEMAND'.
The poverty in America is a VERY different sort of poverty than in the rest of the WORLD.
The American Poor are actually MUCH better off than the Middle Class, who pay's for them. The rich are so rich ,the poor don't matter more than dirty pennies on a road. Poverty has become as common as oxygen. One look at the car's the poor drive to the welfare office would totally offended the entire world, if they could see for themselves, what American's consider as POVERTY
The one thing it has going for it is;
SOMEONE else can pay while you party it up with free food, housing, a loan on a luxury car you will never pay and then just get a new one once the old one is re-possessed, and booze with all the time the willingly LAZY has to waste.
Of course we can't forget the FREE Obama Phone. Hahahaaaa. I laughed the first time I met an un-employed woman face-booking with her free smart phone..
This is American Poverty. Do you love paying your Cell Phone Bill ? Poor American's instead decide to text and drive and kill people while driving because they are the only individual in the world, with somewhere to go and people to text for [?] distraction's/impairment.
Poor decisions making from the top of the government, to the poorest citizen. !!! Then it is called being a humanitarian, ignoring a MAJOR social flaw. HUMAN NATURE.
I was poor in my 20's. Rich in my 40's. It is possible to find opportunity's. If your hungry enough to do something about it..
I hate excuses !!!! If I could do it as an orphan with my own bank account, anyone can.
Why do American's wait for free money?
Because someone always pay's them for being useless to the community. Charity with no end, is no FAVOR to the poor...
Education and work skill's would do much more good than FREE cash given to people with no skill's in how to USE money properly.
A good first step is re-training all welfare recipient's in the 'art of work'. Send all able body recipient's to a Public Park to clean up garbage. How many government job's can be done by welfare recipient's. MANY !!!!!!

Seem's to me to be a perfect first step to rehabilitation, from POVERTY.
My company currently has openings for 20+ unskilled laborer's. No successful applicant's in 3 months. Ironic isn't it. None can pass a drug test.

I know not much about America, but point taken. Are there lazy people out there, absolutely. Are there people who are working and barely able to keep their heads above water, and their kids fed, absolutely. I live in a third world country, and their are no funds from the government to help. And I think we can at least make one child, one family less hungry. We have the ability to change someone's life. Give them hope. One meal is enough to give someone hope.
