Depends where you live, there are some buses in my city that are worse than others. For the most part though I've never had a problem because most of the bus users are other students.

Worse case scenario is buses get overpacked to the point where you are stepping on people's toes. I nearly overheated and fainted one time because there was too many people on the bus and I couldn't get a grip on to the top handle bar ... was scary.

Oh, wow! I don't have a lot of experience on public buses- I live in the midwest and we don't really have reliable transportation. You really have to have a car to get around, so the only people who really ride the buses are those who don't own a car.

public transportation is pretty good where I live in the Coachella Valley as long as you don't want to leave to go to another part of the county. Then you need another form of transportation.

Here where I live, in Finland, public busses are fine - most of us common people use them daily. To work, to school, to hobbies and so on - very common. But still, in some areas of the capital city, at night time - not that nice.

I use the bus quite regularly - just wish they would go more places and maybe be cheaper lol. There are occasionally some weirdos, usually very annoying teenage boys or intoxicated people (I don't mind if people want to smoke weed but it's not legal here currently so a bit awkward when it's on the public bus, plus don't want to be stuck in a smallish space with people who behave weird when intoxicated).

But there should be more public transportation I think, and any issues with them currently dealt with, because I don't think this lifestyle of everybody having a car is going to be able to last forever!

It´s not the Bus, or public transportation, the problem lies with the parents.
A seven year old can not be blamed for his parents and the lack of education he is getting from them.

Generally, i dislike busys because of the crowd, Especially in the summer it is totaly annoying. It's hot and there is no fresh air. However, buses are a good solution when it somes to the environment protection.
