Is it ethical to have a debate circle? I'll trust your judgement and would like to participate. I'm not sure what the curious badge represents, nor how one monitors progress in such things.
In ny case, several months ago we were requested to make suggestions for new (more) debate topics. My personal feelings are that we can certainly use them. As things are, though, most people don't really address the questions for debate. Nor are they actually debates as one cannot respond to the other's statement.
The particularly galling ones are the one which asks us about our attitudes towards fashion -most people ignore the question and, instead, address questions of style. (I think they are completely distinct, one being external and the other being internal. The former being industrial-conformist, the latter being individual and independent); and the one on the environment. Some of the areas are treated superficially and others less frequently so. But that's neither here nor there.
I think this thread could be used to develop some new topics for debates. They could be substantial: what do we believe about our systems of governance; or frivolous: do we have a preference for prints, stripes or polka-dots. A list of potential new topics could be made and submitted to the Prime. Let's keep our minds alive in Bimboland!

Others have asked this as well, and I did a little questioning prior to making the topic. As far as I can tell, we are well within the rules of the site as long as we do not do the following:
No soliciting VOTES from other usersNo creation of new accounts ONLY to challenge other users and yourselfNo creation of rules that attempt to control who users can and cannot challenge, or who they can and cannot vote forAs far as I can tell, asking people to challenge them is fine, and so is making a list of users that are actively seeking challenges in debates. That being said, no one hear is attempting to control who users vote for, or whether or not they are "allowed" to challenge people not on this list. If I found out that someone was doing that(publicly or privately) it would make me very upset, as that was NOT what I was intending when I set up this thread.
With all of that out in the open now, now I'm wondering if I should re-iterate those points in the opening post, so that people joining the thread will be able to know up front what is and is not acceptable behavior.

The only users I have seen with this badge are inactive accounts that are challenged repeatedly because they are "easy wins".
