I'm afraid that the problem is with fights. People moved their interest on debates and there's no enough fights on.
I also vote in debates only to try to close as many of them out as possible since they do pile up. I'll only vote on fights if I have to for a daily task, but once I've done the number of votes I need to do there I move over to voting in debates.
