Well It's Sunday again and I must be getting really old as the weeks are just flying past, they say your perception of time speeds up as you grow older, I must be like 100 years old HA HA. Oh look above me there is a super little Kitty in Lynne's signature box, How adorable is that! Now i've lost the plot and can't remember what I was going to say.....
So, Oh yeah that's right. I was going to say how good the Insta Contest entries are and if you haven't visited the contest page it's worth checking out. I've entered but can't see me getting anywhere with it the competition is very well dressed indeed.

I work on weekends. Actually, I worked weekends during my last job, too.
But, um....where was I going with this....I guess I was going to say that this weekend & last weekend at my new job were light & my supervisor let me leave early both Saturdays.
I am older than both the assistant manager and the manager at this new job.
Oof, getting older is hard. My brain is not like it used to be. My love of my life, my fur child is also getting older. The veterinarian gave him a "senior citizen discount" off his recent bloodwork.
Also, yes, Janeze, I have noticed in this thread & at least one other thread that posts suddenly turned all bold that weren't bold before. I think it's a glitch.

My sweet spooky cat foster fail, Farley, has been living with a really fucked up allergy/skin condition for over a year (He'll be 2 in August, so essentially this has been his life post-kittenhood) and we are still nowhere near finding what works to prevent him from being so itchy that he chews off/scratches his skin off. After 2 vets, many steroid shots, months of food allergy funtimes, we are now on daily medication number 3 and he's been in a cone for 2 solid months now. I can see his sweetness leave him as we go through this process. He's been such a great sport throughout most of what we have been through so far and is SO SWEET at the vet visits (once every 3-4 weeks for over a year now... yeah $$$.). This sweet boy loves to play fetch, sleep on my head, give cuddles, and has this constant purr. Everyone loves him and he has brought my home so much happiness and joy. I'm feeling SO frustrated right now with this process.

There, is nothing worse than having one of the Fur Babies poorly and not being able to help them get better. I've been quite lucky in having had many pets over the years and not having to make many vet visits other than yearly checkups and boosters. I hope yours gets better soon Spiffy.
Cinnamon, I know how you feel us oldies sort to show those signs of body failure before the brain knows we are getting older.. Also it's quite odd being in a job where the managers are younger than some of the staff, that is one of those things that makes you feel older that you perhaps are, i've been there.
I had a good weekend at work without too many dramas so it was rather nice and I managed to get some of the Paper work updated.

@Spiffyfunpants, one of our cats had a similar problem where she would scratch herself until she was all scabby. The vet said she had a flea allergy and putting her on bravecto helped a lot. It only took us one vet visit to get her less itchy so u may have already ruled out a flea allergy as the problem, but I hope this is a lil helpful and I hope ur kitty gets well soon !!
So the 100th page passes by and we have filled this thread with lots of different things, it been kept, for the main part, a happy place with only the smallest amount of sad stories. I'm happy that people have found this thread useful for building their Reputation points and happy also that it hasn't turned into a place that people use to fight battles with each other.
